Drey Wilkins - The Endless Time Role-Playing-Game

Well, for those of you who don't know, this is the Endless Time RPG, being made with RPG Maker VX by me, Drey Wilkins.

This game is based on, and for the first part of the plot will revolve around the events of Endless Time. It may be considered 'third party', but is endorsed by, and taking input from the Creator of Endless Time himself - SuperGanondorf.

I can't wait! I'll finally be able to see what Endless Time is like without having to read three novels worth of text.

Heh heh. I think you better settle in. these games take a while to make.

But on the bright side: The world map is no longer giving me hell. In fact, it's coming along wonderfully.

Umm... right now the future of the game is in doubt, as the creator of a certain character - neither of which will be named - has contacted me and stated that I can not use their character in the game. Because this character is central to the plot, it puts the entire game into a difficult situation.

Never mind. The situation has been resolved.

Status update: Work could be going faster, but there is a lot of blank grass in the main map that I need to think up new ways of filling. A lot of it is forests, but there are also lakes, and even a swamp-land in the south of Fellum. There is also an icy area that is being maintained by magic - I included this because the game needs an icy area. I'll elaborate upon that further while in game.

Well, It's been a month, so I should state this:

PROGRESS UPDATE:

Almost nothing. I assure everyone that this is not looking like dieing any time soon, I've just been preoccupied with other things. Some of them important, some of them not. I should state now that this is not the highest thing on my To-Do-List.

So... yeah.

Hopefully the next update will have new screenshots.

I should add that since getting back from my holiday up north, I haven't really gotten back into production. After consideration, I have decided to take the story in a different direction, that is not associated with the actual story of ET. It gives me more freedom. I don't want to just blandly reproduce the RP itself.

Does anyone mind if I uses their characters as side, or maybe even party members?

Sure, I don't mind if you use either Kenneth or Alexis, since apparently this is an alternate universe sort of thing. Ewyn can't be used though, since in-canon, he suffered severe health problems until recently, and while he has left Jopo with his parents some times, VERY few of those were in Darath, and most of those few were in the border of Darath. On the other hand, it's very easy to fill in Kenneth's backstory so that he could have showed up in Darath, and Alexis lives there, so yeah.

Thanks, although they may encounter Kenneth out in the story. (Murderer. Lots of possibilities, like maybe... The first boss? In that scenario, BTW, I wouldn't have him die.)

Update: Leaps and bounds!

I spent a great amount of time today puzzling out an issue with some of the coding, but now that that is done, I can get back to work.
If my testing saves are anything to go by, at the moment I have a wonderful 15-20 minutes of game-play. (Although there has been a lot of inactivity on this since I first made it)
