It just made me wish it lasted longer.

Spoiler : Case 5 :
I kinda knew going in that Edgeworth was gonna be pure fanservice. It doesn't really detract from the game, it's just a bit disappointing. However, I never honestly expected much; because this isn't Shu Takumi writing, so I never expected that any of the answers we wanted would be resolved.

I really, really, really wouldn't go so far as to call Edgeworth fanservice: The plot demands that someone with his level of authority be there, and Edgeworth was a character that made perfect sense to fill that role.

It's just that, you know, they didn't make Edgeworth a more important entity in the plot, which could have easily been done.

Edgeworth being the prosecutor may have been fanservice, but his role in the plot otherwise was not. And even then, he's the only logical choice to be the prosecutor once he's involved with the case.

Edgey was pretty vanilla as a prosecutor. He didn't do anything special in the trial, and his role in the plot was really just tacked on at the end of the game.

His role as far as what he did in the trial could have been done by anybody, had they been on hand.

I wouldn't say that. You'd need someone to arrange for it to have actual legal force. Otherwise what difference would it make if they proved Blackquill innocent?

Yes, you would, which I already said. But they didn't necessarily need to prosecute the case themselves, just arrange it.

Of course, if they were the one who arranged it then it makes more sense for them to be the one to prosecute, which was my entire point in the first place.

I beat the final case (With the exception of the DLC case) last night. I don't really want to debate about the game or anything, but I'll give my opinion on it. While the pacing could definitely be improved at times to make certain things have more impact, the game was the most fun I've had with AA since I started the series and quickly became my favorite game in the series thus far. I liked the graphics, LOVED the characters, thought the mysteries were cool even when I was spoiled beforehand, and in general just adored this game. Now to play the DLC case and cling onto the last bit of the game that I have left to play... >.<

Hey, remember when everyone heard about this game and was super hyped about it? Then after it was released people started to realize that
it was a boring game, story wise. Compare this to AAI2 which was the second best game in the franchise, and you can see something. I mean, they were both made by the SAME GUY! :sideglance2:
