Here's some questions, sorry if some of them have already been answered, I'm typing this at nearly 3 am.
Yay for questions and stickied-ness~!
- ... and what are drop bears? I'm sort of scared to look them up. >__>
Drop bears are a trick story that Australians tell tourists and non-Australians. xD
- What was your first video game ever?
Oh wow, this is hard. The first I can remember.... Probably 'Yummy Dots', a pac-man rip-off. But I can only kinda remember that. The first video game that I can clearly remember is Pokemon Chaos Black, which came on a GBA cartridge filled with many games. I remember getting stuck and giving up. I thought it was a real Pokemon game at the time. ;-;
- What do you think is the most obscure game you like?
THE WEIRD TEAPOT GAME ON THE NDS WHERE YOU JUST MOVED AROUND A 3D TEAPOT AND THEN TURNED THE GAME OFF
But seriously, I have no idea. xP
- What is your favorite Pokemon?
CYNDAQUIIIIIIL <3
> Favorite of the coming mega-evoutions?
No idea. Trying to stay un-spoiled. I know two, and I have no preference between them. (Also, I kinda... Don't... Care.)
> What do you think of the new Prehistoric mechanic? You think it'll see functionality outside of this game, and with more pokemon (like pokemon who evolve via Ancient Power like Yanmega and Mamoswine)?
Prehistorc mechanic? AMI DID YOU JUST SPOIL ME (D)
> Opinion on Fairy types?
They're cute. Mostly.
- Favorite non-main character in Layton (so excluding Luke, Layton, and Emmy).
FUTURE LUKE FUTURE LUKE FUTURE LUUUUUUKE <3 <3
- What is your least favorite video game mechanic (like invisible stats in RPG's, platforming when you can't see your character's feet, picarats which is basically "get it right, reset, then get it right with full picarats")?
okay first off that is not what you should be doing with picarats that is not how they should be gotten no bad
'Every little movement makes a 100000 degree POV rotation.' 'No scrollback' in VN's is awful, too.
- What was your first video game system (counting PC if you ever played more than Solitaire)?
Game Boy.
- Okay, so there's a lot of 90's superiority around the gaming community (most of the faux-retro tends to emulate that era, or at least the late eighties, early nineties), so what game from that era is your favorite?
Ocarina of Time, I guess?
> Growing up in a new generation, what do you think you (and by extension, your generation) will hold in high regard with huge nostalgia goggles, insisting that (what will by then be new) games must adhere to?
No idea whatsoever. I probably wouldn't do that. xP
- I found a spriting thread of yours- looked it up since you said you were drawing today (well, by now? Yesterday for me!). It's got some good stuff. What would you say is your favorite sprite created?
NO WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT AMI WHY- *Ahem* None of them. At all. I really, utterly don't like any of them at all. (Unless we talk about sprites that haven't been seen before by anyone outside of 3 people. In which case, happy-Hayate, happy-Nanoha, and normal-Nanoha. You other two people know what I'm talking about.)
> If you are drawing, I take it you have branched out? Would you feel comfortable showing us?
I've always drawn, though. xP I probably would feel comfortable with it, I guess... Here.
> If so, would that mean your art topic updates again? =O
Never. I've decided not to touch it with a four-foot pole.
- What is/are your favorite...
> Live-action sci-fi show(s)?
I don't like sci-fi, actually.
> Live-action comedy(ies)?
Brian Regan is a great comedian. Don't watch live-action stuff, though.
> Life-action mystery show(s)?
Don't watch any. (Because I feel they'll never live up to anything but shhhhh)
> Comedian(s)?
Brian Regan, I guess.
> Anime(s)?
...I have no idea what to say here. Uh... Let's see... Nanoha A's is a good anime. I'll go with that. Madoka's good, too. I liked Rebellion. (Which I've heard is bad, but Iunno. I thought it was good.) Higu's anime was alright.
> Slice of Life anime? (If not applicable to "favorite anime")
I read manga more than I watch anime. SO IT'S TIME TO ASSUME THE MANGA/VN IS THE SAME AS THE ANIME! : D Lessee.... Clannad is good, I've heard. VN was good. No idea about the LB! anime. Usagi Drop's manga was... A thing. But I hear the anime's good? I should go watch that sometime.
> Sci-fi anime? (If not applicable to "favorite anime")
Not into sci-fi. xP
> Mystery anime? (If not applicable to "favorite anime")
Changing anime to manga for all of these. Mystery... Conan gets boring. Q.E.D is alright, I guess? I don't relieve have a favourite for Mystery.
> Romance anime? (If not applicable to "favorite anime")
I read one ages ago 'Last Game' (?) that had only a really small amount of chapters at the time. I wouldn't call it my favourite, but it certainly was... Cute-ish? I guess?
> Western cartoon?
Couldn't answer if I tried. Not into western cartoons.
> Character?
In... Anime? Manga? All of fiction? I like a lot of characters for different reasons, so it's hard for me to answer.
> Movie?
Does Rebellion count? It's not my favourite, but it's the first movie that sprang to mind. (A lot of my answers are.)
> Musical artist and/or band?
Dai, I guess.
> Favorite music genre?
Classical all the way.
> Disney movie?
Lion King. Or Mulan. They're both good~

Sorry! I keep forgetting what constitutes spoilers in Pokemon games. >_<
Anyway, follow-up question: how did you get pirated games while not knowing the games were pirated?

I got the cartridge... As a gift, I think? And I just thought all the games were 100% legit. Because I had no idea that pirated games were a thing, because I was young and innocent.

Favorite venomous or poisonous organism?
"A slow sort of country!" said the Queen. "Now, here, you see, it takes all the running you can do, to keep in the same place. If you want to get somewhere else, you must run at least twice as fast as that!"

Either box jellyfish or... Uh... I heard about a snail once, but I don't know the name. Oh! Or that blue frog! I want that frog as a pet.
EDIT: Someone just told me about a caterpillar and the Hooded Pitohui. The latter is really cute. New two favourites.
