Mayhem or "Do the Jingle" or Guy-in-a-suit asking questions whose answer "confirms" that you can save 15% or more?

I've never heard of the latter commercial. The mayhem is pretty funny, but my all time favorite auto-insurance commercial is:

Actually yes: I find scratches on myself all the time and I wonder "How'd that get there?" and my nose bleeds at least once daily at a completely random time. And one time on my birthday I twisted my ankle, and I fell down while walking home at least twice. Nothing too terrible, but I have my moments.

I haven't been to a doctor in a very long time: But I've never had one that was that bad. So they're alright in my book.

Re: Member of the Month: March 2011
Oh god, I've been waiting FOREVER for this one. Dude, Shadow, he stole your trademark question! You're not going to let him GET AWAY with it, are you?!
Anyway, I'll answer both!
Worst Movie: I can't pick just one. I have to single out three names:
First, and the worst movie of all time in my book: The Deer Hunter. Quite possibly the worst scripting in a film in history. Christopher Walken and pals get drunk, shoot deer, go to Vietnam, and are tortured. But you know what? I got so sick of these horribly undeveloped and annoying characters that I WANTED them to die. Let 'em play Russian Roulette, I don't care.
Second: Paint Your Wagon. Sure, at some times it's so bad it's good. For most of it, it's so bad it's bad. At the two hour mark it just becomes unwatchable, and guess what? There's TWO more hours to go! I gave in halfway, never looked back, and have never regretted it.
Third: The Choirboys. Oh my god, THE CHOIRBOYS. The most insipid, offensive, incoherent three hours I have ever had the displeasure of wasting.
Worst TV series: I don't have a least favorite fictional series (although Yugioh is pretty awful, I cannot take any story where the bad guy won't throw my character off a cliff because he lost a children's card game seriously), but, Jersey Shore... what has our culture become? When did we decide it would be entertaining to follow a bunch of drunken losers? How is this nonsense entertaining? Kill it. KILL IT WITH FIRE. I'm hoping that stint one of those said losers on the Donald Trump roast has done a number on the show's undeserving reputation.

Either or. I guess that doesn't really apply to the first arc or so about the Duelist Kingdom and whatnot (I can live with duels being life and death there given the circumstances), but after a while it just degrades to a bunch of idiots taking a freaking card game way too seriously, and I, in turn, cannot take the characters seriously due to their obsession with this card game and how literally every little thing depends on it. In 5D (If the game is anything like the anime) the bad guy decides not to destroy the world if you beat him in this card game! I'm sorry, that's a little much!Bad Player wrote:Waitwaitwaitwaitwaitwaitwaitwaitwaitwaitwaitwait.BBblader wrote:(although Yugioh is pretty awful, I cannot take any story where the bad guy won't throw my character off a cliff because he lost a children's card game seriously)

In fact, I would say the dub version is superior: I seriously wouldn't bother with the series at all if it wasn't for Dan Green.
Fine, I'll change it: Yu-Gi-Oh past the Duelist Kingdom story arc. Happy?

Re: Member of the Month: March 2011
Well, of course it's going to suck if you look at it as anything than an awesomely over-the-top way to watch people play a children's card game that could never actually happen in real life. But as long as you look at it that way, it's sweetBBblader wrote:Either or. (The Yu-Gi-Oh! game being the central pastime of the culture and the Ancient Egyptian magic are the two big fantastic elements of YGO, but if you take the fantastic elements away from almost anything...)
Also, have you seen Duel Masters?
