Alrighty, time for a couple of questions.
When making a trial, what do you try to accomplish in your writing? Basically, what's the process that you go through when making a trial?
What do you consider to be your greatest accomplishment?

Re: Member of the Month: March 2011
@ GD: Hm... whenever I'm writing something I just want people to enjoy it, whether it's the next TSub or not doesn't really matter to be as long as people get a kick out of it. The process that I go through... I couldn't really tell you, it just hits me and I start to piece together the little details as they go. Like, an awesome concept for a case hit me over the weekend, and I can't really tell you how it got there: I was just pacing around, thinking, and then all of a sudden the idea just hit me like a rocket and I went "Hey, this is a really awesome idea for a case, I can't wait to work on it!" All I have now is the basic structure of that with a LOT of empty blanks. (Btw, this case won't be coming until Ace Prosecutor's sequel series, so don't expect it for a while ) And it's like that with all of my (planned) cases: I know the basic idea of how they play out, and I make everything else up as I go along. It worked out okay with Renewals because I got lucky, but I'm never releasing a case until it's 100% complete again.
My greatest accomplishment, I think, and ED will hate me for saying this, would be Turnabout Orange. I know, it's just a stupid comedy trial, but clearly people got a real kick out of it. Mainly the amazing thing for me is that it's received very good feedback that I never expected: And this was just something I made on the spur of the moment and I felt it wasn't something people who haven't played Renewals would enjoy. Heck, most of the favorite parts people had are parts I didn't even find that funny. So yeah, I consider Orange my greatest achievement: Because it's much more successful than I ever expected a silly comedy trial to be.

Well then... who is your favourite OC out of all the AA-fangames you've played? Make a toplist if you can't decide and state your reasons. (will come up with better questions another time....)

Re: Member of the Month: March 2011
This required no thought whatsoever:
Bloodlines!Portsman. I could just go on and on and on and on and on and on about him. The "Could this guy be any more ________" gag pretty much sums up all of his obnoxious traits, and they're all delicious.

Re: Member of the Month: March 2011
I appreciate that, and some have said that I've made Portsman mine, but still, I wouldn't say he's an OC...

Works for me... this is the ONE case in which I'll make an exception and have him count as an OC.

Boy, people really seem to love my Portsman. It makes me wonder... could this guy be any more popular?!
Speaking of which, Blader, you see what I did at the bottom of Page 1?

Re: Member of the Month: March 2011
...Come to think of it, yeah. That is a good point, isn't it? XD I'm so used to Portsman being the Case 1 guy who gets 2 and 3 mixed up that (and I've talked to Truf and Tap about this) I often forget Bloodlines!Portsman and Capcom!Portsman are the same character.
Drifting into OC territory... Hm. I'm going to say Paul Strings from TSub. I really love the concept behind his character: A chief justice with old-fashioned moral ideals. But yeah: Strings was awesome. It sucks he doesn't have all that much screentime (though he has lots of influence on the case without even being present, which is quite a feat)
And yes Zeel, I saw what you did. It was quite AWESOME.
