Because an idea churned out starts to break down in the end?
Congrats on MoTM too btw.
Question:
If you're excited about AA5, what are you looking most forward to (any technical like new features, or more general things like returning characters, etc.)

Happy MotM enigma!
Alright, my question is... Should the main character have a unreasonable nickname that is explained, reasonable that is unexplained or one that is unreasonable and unexplained?

It depends on whether or not it works or not. If they pull it off, they could be named BurgeryMcBirdface for all I care. Names don't really matter. (For example, I think Cross was awesome in Turnabout Tomorrow and he fits in the last category.)hershel_layton wrote:Happy MotM enigma!

Oh, 'gratz on the MoM enigma.
On a whole, there has been a sentiment (one I agree with) that there has been a shift in AAO cases from emphasizing the cases and mysteries themselves, to telling an overarching story and the riddles, mysteries, etc. not being afterthoughts per se, but definitely being in the periphery. Do you have any opinion on this trend, or if it will continue?
Pop quiz: You're a defense attorney, and are in the court room. Hazama appears as a surprise prosecutor. What do YOU do?

"With good friends by your side, anything is possible. If you really care for each other, it makes everyone stronger! Then you'll have the will to succeed! The world is filled with painful things, it's sad sometimes, and you won't be able to handle it by yourself. But just know: If there's someone that you love, you'll stay on the right path. And you won't ever give in! As long as you keep that person in your heart, you'll keep getting back up. Understand? That's why a Hero never loses!"

I personally approve of this trend provided it doesn't go too far. Anyone can read a riddle out of a riddle book and work out the answer. As long as there is a solvable mystery to challenge me, I don't mind if it takes back seat to the story. Basically, if you're going to make a mystery story make sure it's both a mystery and a story. On whether it will continue? It'll probably continue until a new author with even more amazing trials and a vastly different mindset appears.

Besides fanboy? Hm... I'd probably revert to the argument of irrelevance or basically just point out that most of what Hazama says is just troll logic. Only in AA world would he last even a second in a court.
