He just doesn't want to admit he's seen it a thousand times already.

It's not even that, it's just... pointless. You guys know that yaoi is a thing, right? That you don't actually have to deal with this tease crap?

Hey, I've seen Sekai-ichi no Hatsukoi and it was actually pretty good. I mean, I usually get bored to death with romance, but I watched it in full (the only BL romance I've watched the whole series of, by the way - ironically I've seen more yuri than yaoi), so it's gotta count for something. It was certainly better than Junjou Romantica that was just yucky imo.

It is a thing that a fair amount of people people like more soft and fluffy stuff compared to say, hardcore and more explicit stuff. Yaoi is also a really gross genre in general, seriously. It's directed towards females, not actual gay males. It's there to be, well, porn for females.

Also Junjou Romantica took me like, ten seconds to hate. I tried and then was like, nah.

Okay so since nobody wants to trade and DLA can't think of anything, I'll assign you a new anime myself. This was not an easy task, but I found SOMETHING to recommend.

Lind will be watching The Devil is a Part-Timer!

Just posting to say that I finished the anime that was assigned to me because I think that's what we're supposed to do after we finish. Yeah.
Hosted The Year of Luigi competition (and here's the awards ceremony).
Current AAO projects (to be completed eventually, probably, hopefully): A Real Name (2024), A Silly Little Dream (hopefully late 2024 or very early 2025), My Dearest Direst Disgrace (hopefully late 2025)
Stuff I've made on here: QotU
Make My Life Worse
Malleus Maleficarum: The Witch of San Ignacio
The Six Transgender Lesbian Goddesses of Love Are Having A Petty Argument, So They Try To Settle Things Alongside The Three Transgender Gay Gods of Flavor
Defend Him, Not Me!
The Guardian and the Dreamer
I was a guest judge and did a bit of writing for the TICKING TIME BOMB competition.

Avatar is of Marth from Fire Emblem, commissioned from @PiyoStoria on Twitter.

Finished Hataraku Maou-sama!. It was, uh. Underwhelming. Some of the fish out of water comedy was pretty funny but the rest was just kind of a collection of uninspired and rehashed anime tropes with flat, unlikeable characters, and uninteresting scenarios (given that this is a sitcom, that's kind of a big problem).

I AM DISSATISFIED, PUNY MORTALS. NEXT TIME WE DO THIS I DEMAND GREATER.

It wasn't actually terrible it was just pretty meh.

Out of curiousity, are you planning to have people report in after watching? It would be interesting to hear what people thought of the animes they got, but so far only Lind has mentioned anything about that... :/
