Your Favourite Movies
Hey everybody, it's Trialman and welcome to my new topic. I'm just back from watching Nostalgia Critic's Top 20 Favourite Movies and I decided to start this topic. In this topic you can tell us your favourite movies, you can tell us whatever way you want, you can just say, "My favourite is (insert movie here)". Or you can perform a Top 10 or something like that, feel free to discuss with others about opinions, but don't go too off-topic.
Either way, here are Trialman's Top 11 movies.
11. Professor Layton & The Eternal Diva (It feels like one of the games amazing anime cutscenes, only feature length, it was like the game was begging for a movie, and we get a good video game movie)
10. Harry Potter & The Goblet Of Fire (The way the series really began to get dark here was a nice touch, as it is the one with Voldemort returning, and I enjoyed the ways the tasks were presented)
9. Treasure Planet (It is a very relaxing movie, and is one that I have enjoyed for the longest time)
8. Raymond Briggs' Father Christmas (One of my favourites for Christmas, and I also find myself enjoying it at any old time, the characterization for Santa was a good laugh, and I love the Las Vegas scenes, and the song that plays in the deliveries)
7. Looney Looney Bugs Bunny Movie (A good compilation of classic shorts, not to mention the Oswald Awards in Act III, one of my favourite parts of a movie, ever. And it's Looney Tunes)
6. Daffy Duck's Quackbusters (It stars Daffy Duck, my favourite Looney Tune, the Ghostbusters parody idea was nice, and a good set of shorts)
5. Tiny Toons; How I Spent My Vacation (Tiny Toons, a classic 90's show, and the summer holiday theme is a theme I love, and the way it changes views from time to time is cool, and they all connect somehow, so the story holds up well by supporting itself by doing this. It was also the first movie I ever watched.)
4. Raiders Of The Lost Ark (An amazing start to an amazing series, with the classic boulder chase and melting face)
3. Harry Potter & The Chamber Of Secrets (I'm not sure why it's my favourite Harry Potter honestly)
2. Indiana Jones & The Last Crusade ("We're not going on the boat?")
1. Bugsy Malone (The idea of a gangster musical was cool, as was all the characters being played by children, it has aged well, and has great songs, my favourite is Bad Guys)
Either way, here are Trialman's Top 11 movies.

I don't think that was a movie. Did you mean Eternal Diva? If you did, amend your testimony to fix this!holhol1235 wrote:Professor Layton and the Unwound Future

Re: Your Favourite Movies
UF might just as well have been a movie.
My favorites, in no real order, are:
Schindler's List (favorite movie EVER)
The King's Speech
Limitless
Harry Potter series (best: Prisoner of Azkaban)
Professor Layton and the Eternal Diva
The Hunt for Red October
The Four Feathers
Stewie Griffin: The Untold Story
The Wizard
National Treasure 1 and 2
Get Smart
Khabi Khushi Ghabi Gahn (I know I misspelled that, don't bother correcting me)
Metroid: Other M (the game has a mode where you can watch every cutscene as a movie, and it's as long as a full-length movie, so...)
Mega Man (yes, it's a freeware, fan-made movie that was great excluding the awful special effects)
Beethoven 1 and 2 (the dog, not the composer)
The Blind Side
Legally Blonde (just 1, 2 wasn't nearly as good)
Yeah, I like a lot of movies.

Re: Your Favourite Movies
^ YES.
I mean, they left out a lot of the best aspects of the comics and it was still an amazing movie. It was just something totally unique for once -- unlike any other movie before it.

Re: Your Favourite Movies
^ That was a good movie. Jim Carrey was great there. Though I hated how they just destroyed the book's chronology.

Re: Your Favourite Movies
I enjoy most movies that I like equally, but I think Spirited Away is at the top. Just loved the story, music, and animation. Completely unlike anything else I watched Oh, and the English dub is godly.
Too lazy to think of some others right now.

Re: Your Favourite Movies
My favourite movie has got to be Toy Story 3. Everything about it was simply breathtaking, especially the ending, which made me break out in tears.

Re: Your Favourite Movies
The Prestige is now my second-favorite movie of all time (Schindler's List still being first). It has an absolutely amazing plot, powerful emotion, and extremely compelling characters. Not to mention, the last 30 minutes are absolutely loaded with AMAZING plot twist after plot twist. Revenge may be wrong, but damn does it make an amazing movie. I can't say enough about how amazing this film is.

Re: Your Favourite Movies
I really liked Inception. I also liked the 2010 Sherlock Holmes movie, even though most people don't seem to notice it.
