Hey, I've always had a sense of humor. If you don't believe me, I have tons of comedic stuff that I wrote logged.

I started watching a tiny bit... it seems to have a slightly darker theme to it. It's not as much as 100% fluff anymore. xD

Don't get too used to how things are going, though. The first two episodes really only serve to set up the premise for the show. After that, it is sorta slice-of-life-ish, but it's still really good.

This is growing on me... a lot. Fluttershy still annoys me, and I hat Pinkie Pie, but the rest of the cast is great.

I asked BB for a link to the first episode, and I died of laughter at the "hilarious" plot in the first minute or so.
I gave up then. This isn't my cup of tea.

Forgive me for putting on my Nostalgia Critic hat for a second, but I don't understand how anyone can like this stuff, unless they are a stereotypical little girl who still plays with her dolls.

Now, to make me eat my words, I would like to this first episode. If it's half as good as Sonic SatAM, then I'll be somewhat impressed, but I'm thinking it's going to be more of a Legend of Zelda.

It has actual good writing, a nice range of characters(which don't suck), and excellent animation. It's top tier, man. TBH, this is the best show for that age group I've seen. But then again, I am a little girl in disguise.

Well, it wouldn't take much. I'm forced to endure preschool shows when my 1 year-old comes round.

You guys are thinking kids show as in Barney and not kids show as in AOSTH. There are times when it crosses the border to childish (mainly the big overdone musicals) but the rest of it is great.

Nah. It sorta just sinks into your usual sitcom stuff after that, so you really have to adapt with an open mindset: If you don't like Episode 3 you're probably not going to like the rest of the series.
