In a lot of series, there's always one girl or guy who has his or her life screwed... eternally. Whether it be the bad guy or an anti-hero who is just a pawn used by the sadistic author to advance the plot and to squeeze out some tears. Would you like to share some?

If you don't know any, you can even share some of your own OCs. I think fanfictioners are more sadistic than authors anyway.

I'd have to say that Phoenix himself is pretty abused. Not only physically on countless occasions, but he also gets accused of murder, has to make a decision between saving Maya and catching a killer, getting disbarred, etc.
