Hetalia: Axis Powers Disscusion Thread

With a loose nod to history (and a smattering of ethnic stereotypes), this inventive anime personifies the Axis powers that we all know from World War II -- Italy, Germany and Japan -- and re-imagines them as super-cute boys. Japan is shy, Italy loves pasta and, of course, Germany's got blond hair and blue eyes. But when Allied powers America, England and France show up, there's bound to be a little conflict.

This is my FAVORITE anime. Seriously, I was considering making a thread for this. And I'm not afraid to admit that the American stereotype is very true most of the time. :XD:
Anyway, my fav character is Russia. He's so funny as he secretly plots the murders of everybody he knows. Also...

Oh yeah, my sister wants to go to a convention for her birthday, so the two of us, as well as a friend of our's, are all cosplaying as Hetalia characters. My sis is going as China, our friend as Romano, and I'll be the king of awesome, aka Prussia. :XD:

I went to a convention dressed as Spain once. I even brought my guitar along and the Spain fangirls bugged me until I played his marukaite chikyuu theme. Ahh... Good Times. :P

I enjoyed Hetalia for the one night I watched it. Don't know what episode number I got to, but never started re-watching it.

I do enjoy how no one knows Canada exists, it's so true to reality. xD

My personal favrotie episode is the Busby's Chair episode. Drunken England+Russia's awesomeness=Hilarity ensues.
