Re: Harry Potter
I'm ashamed to say I don't have the patience to fully read any Harry Potter book.
The movies were pretty good, though. I liked them. Goblet of Fire's my favorite.

Gumpei is so awesome for being everything that I've always wished for. <3

Think that's why so many relationships fail, because people wind up forcing themselves to find good in the other person, play up who they are to appear more attractive to them... but well... real love is being yourself, with someone who cares about you and accepts you for who you are.

Re: Harry Potter
J.K.'s writing style is just peachy.
The Harry Potter books are pretty awesome, although the sixth book is my favourite, followed by the first book.

"Curiously enough, the only thing that went through the mind of the bowl of petunias as it fell was Oh no, not again. Many people have speculated that if we knew exactly why the bowl of petunias had thought that we would know a lot more about the nature of the Universe than we do now."

Re: Harry Potter
My favorite Harry Potter book was Chamber of Secrets. Favorite Harry Potter movie would have to be between Chamber of Secrets and Goblet of Fire. But then, Goblet of Fire has Tennant in it... For some reason, I find that they put the Prisoner of Azkaban movie too often on TV. I've seen it at least ten times.
The Final but not so ending chapter.

Re: Harry Potter
there's a harry potter topic omg i'm going to fangirl get ready
OHMIGOD HARRY POTTER WAS MY ENTIRE CHILDHOOD, STARTING FROM WHEN I WAS BUT 6 YEARS OLD AND MY PARENTS BOUGHT MY THE FIRST MOVIE ON VHS AND I WATCHED IT EVERY SINGLE NIGHT FOR A YEAR UNTIL I GOT CHAMBER AND WATCHED THAT EVERY SINGLE NIGHT, AND THEN I BORROWED THE BOOKS FROM MY LOCAL LIBRARY AND READ THE FIRST THREE IN LIKE TWO DAYS OMG IT WAS SO BEAUTIFUL AND MAGICAL AND AWESOME AND FULL OF AWESOMAGIC <33333333
Anyway, my favorite book is by far Prisoner of Azkaban. I loved how Jo Rowling managed to make that book Harry's "transition," both from child to teenager and lighthearted to dark-natured. A close second is Half-Blood Prince, just because Tom Riddle is a favorite of mine, and I love his back stories. I can't pick a favorite movie. I didn't like Order (they cut out so much that it completely ruined the film, and the series afterward), I liked the direction in HBP, but again, they cut out so much that I felt empty. Deathly Hallows Part 1 was good, but I feel like they left out way too much, as per usual for David Yates. I also don't think it was long enough. If it was to be two movies anyway, why not make it 3 whole hours? At least 2 hours and forty-five minutes. We deserved that, after ten years. Goblet of Fire, was surprisingly decent, but still disappointing. I loved David Tennant. But it was... boring. The direction was... plain.
I guess it boils down to my favorite being a tie between Deathly Hallows Part 2 (it was so beautiful, only curse David Yates for lengthening the Prince's Tale--I was crying for hours afterwards) and PoA. Because Alfonso Cuaron is my favorite Harry Potter director.
Phew. I'm finally done rambling. Good day~ ^.^
