Discworld

Post by The Crusader Of 42 »

Those of you who have heard of this series, you know what it is.
For those of you that have not well... READ ONE OF THEM.
You wouldn't ever regret it. Ever...

This thread is for discussing the Discworld series, or anything else vaguely related to this subject.

I'm pretty sure I've read one of these books, although I have no idea what it was called. Although I do remember that the protagonist's name was Brother Brutha and God was a turtle. And for an English project I made a box of cereal relating to this book. I don't actually remember the story though. :sideglance2:

I remember watching the 'Color of Magic', which was a TV Film following the first two Discworld novels.

Ooooh! I used to read a lot of the Discworld series. It was the Sky1 films that got me interested. I particularly love the stories with Death.

YES! Death is quite wonderful. Personally I
loved him in Reaper Man, although he was hilarious in Hogfather.

Ha ha. Yeah. We need more Death stories. It's a shame there haven't been any more.

Yeah, Death is the best charater in that entire series.
It's actually clever how he is blantantly written with no personality,
but most times he seems the most human.
