Exactly. :)

I am not sure if I can say that I liked the trailer, but I am still looking forward to the movie. Maybe it's better than the trailer shows!

I like the 2nd trailer, he's going faster than the 1st one, I want to see this movie ! DL-6 is one of my favourites cases and I hope they won't do the same they did with AAI2 because it's a japanese movie, and maybe they won't realese it outside of Japan...
The movie looks great but they are using holograms as proofs ? It's kinda weird.

I thought the costumes looked okay (even lotta's afro was done REALLY well)...But most of the cast looks wayyy toooo ugly for the part.

I mean you got a judge that's not bald but has a full grown beard going on? Weird sight.
You have an evil character (Manfred) that's being played by an obese man?

Both PW/Edgeworth are have reasonable built body frames in the games, but the cast playing them is TOOOO skinny.

They even got Gumshoe all wrong...He's really supposed to be much more built than anyone else in the games (besides the dude who plays Steel Samurai in the first AA game).

They got the costumes/hair down right for the most part, but man, tottallyyyyyy off with the body type...But I'm really digging the mia actress :P

And wtf is up with the Larry one....Looks like a creeper :X

Also guys, who's the girl that's before edgeworth, but after mia? (when you go through the slides I mean)

I'm definitely crossing fingers the acting will be amazing...I've never actually seen a Japanese movie before, does anyone who have tell me how good japanese acting in general is for movies?

...It's gonna be sad she's gonna be killed off early :(, but then Mia will be in those spirit medium clothing!!

That's a bit of an exaggeration. :XD: He's just got a chubby face.

There's no chance that they'd be able to find actors to match their characters perfectly. Remember that most of them are actual celebrities in Japan. They're more experienced actors that people are more likely to want to see.

Meph, the guy has a freakin' beer belly LOL

But again, how does Japanese acting tend to turn out in the East?

No mention of Maya's horrendous bangs? Ugggh...

I've seen a tiny bit of a Death Note movie, and the acting was just fine, Hud. If most of these people are pretty much celebs already, it shouldn't be too bad :)

Old? I never knew. :XD: Wow, a dubbed international release! :D It'll probably be direct-to-video, though. Still, I can't wait! :D This really was a great 10th anniversary for AA. BP is subbing GK2, GS5 is confirmed, GS123HD has been announced, PL vs AA will be released this year and now the AA film will be released with a potential English dub! :D

EDIT: 0_O There's a link to AAO from the website of the film festival where this was shown:
http://www.filmfestivalrotterdam.com/en ... en-saiban/

He actually thinks that this website contains the real AA games. :?

Well we do make games based on the real games, though still, it must be an honour for this website to be mentioned.

Though I do feel sorry for court-records.
Like the creator of Final Fantasy, I'm better at telling a story.
If you need help animating Ace Attorney sprite sheets, I'm your man.

International release! Yes!

I wonder what the chances are of the people from Turnabout Musical getting involved. Probably not likely, but I can't imagine Phoenix's voice as anything besides Matt Taranto.
Well, whatever dub voices they get, I just hope they're good.

Hehehe, a free news spread wouldn't be such a bad thing :P

The film is going to be played in America exclusively during AM2 at the Anaheim Convention Centre, which is right next to the Disneyland Resort! :D

Kotaku gave the movie pretty much a positive review, which apparently was a first time for video-game adaptations in general :P

The closest we got to a good video game film was The Prince of Persia. It was alright, I guess. It doesn't deserve more than three stars. My friends loved it, though, because of the action. :P They're not interested in getting emotionally involved with the story.
