Obscure, Unknown or Under-appreciated Video Game Music
Hey guys,
I was wondering if you all wanted to share some video game music out there that you're aware of, yet is probably not getting much attention from very many people. Ie, don't post anything from Final Fantasy, Zelda or the like, but really lesser-known artists.
2 to get us started:
Jetpack Joyride (Gameplay)
To the Moon
How about you guys? (Please provide links if possible!)

I remember seeing a trailer for To The Moon a while ago... It's out? Awesome, except there are too many games I need to play... xD
Anyway, I love everything in the Tower of Heaven OST (...except Divine Breath, I guess)

Final Fantasy Tactics A2: Grimoire of the Rift
Composer(s): Hitoshi Sakimoto, Nobuo Uematsu, Ayako Saso, Kaori Oogoshi, Mitsuhiro Kaneda
The third game in the Final Fantasy Tactics series, released on the Nintendo DS. Many of the tracks originated from Final Fantasy XII or Final Fantasy Tactics Advance, so they will not be included here due to their greater exposure.
Knowledge of the Adventurer
A Time Eternal
Front and Back
Legend of Mana:
Composer(s): Yoko Shimomura
The fourth game in the Mana/Seiken Densetsu series, released on the Playstation. I haven't played the game itself, but the soundtrack has encouraged me to seek it out.
Legend Of MANA ~Title Theme~
Hometown Domina
Earth Painting
Suikoden Tierkreis:
Composer(s): Yoshino Aoki, Norikazu Miura, Masaharu Iwata, Kaori Komuro, Hiroaki Tomuno
A spin-off of the Suikoden series, released on the Nintendo DS. While the majority of the game's soundtrack is very good, the few tracks featuring live instruments are exceptional.
The Plain and the Sky
Sally Beacon
Porpoise's Home

Final Fantasy Tactics A2's soundtrack is definitely obscure and under-appreciated. Even Final Fantasy fans (in my experience), tend to avoid the game due to its "childish" nature.Bad Player wrote:>Goes into obscure/unknown video game music thread

Except for you guys, it would seem that most people can't think of any obscure video game music to promote. Oh well, there are some good listens on the thread already.

The idea is to link to it, so I'll do that for you: http://halfbrick.bandcamp.com/album/age ... soundtrackenigma wrote:Ooh! Age of Zombies!
Actually, that's the same company that did one of my suggestions (Jetpack Joyride).

Though not technically from a video game, it sure sounds like it is:

Music is literally the only remaining reason to ever so much as pretend Mabinogi ever existed.
