Sorry, Smithee, but this thread will need a more specific topic; otherwise it belongs in the Topic of Randomness. :) Maybe you could get people to explain why they like the music videos they post, so that we can get a more constructive discussion going.

You're right; it should probably be moved there.

I disagree, I literally think the topic section is fine the way it is, it gives people an excuse to post the weirdest song (backed by videos) they can find :P

I do like the idea of having to explain things a little bit more though

My favorite Billy Idol song, as well as one of my favorites in general. Gives off a moody, surreal feeling, and would fit right in as part of an anime soundtrack.

"Marble House," by The Knife

Haunting and disquieting. A song that, depending on how you read it, is about a mortician tending to the dead, a speaker trapped in a confining relationship, a controlling parent, or caring for a person with dementia.

The video illustrates this with stop-motion mice moving through domestic chores in a kind of shuddery way. That's cute... right?
"A slow sort of country!" said the Queen. "Now, here, you see, it takes all the running you can do, to keep in the same place. If you want to get somewhere else, you must run at least twice as fast as that!"

Approved, The Knife always seem to have really good music videos that manage to capture the strange emotions their music stirs up.
Have you heard their newest album? (Shaking the Habitual)
