Great guide! However, a mod will need to move this to the Your Trials forum, where guides are meant to be posted. :)

Moved to Your Trials, which is where all the guides are. :P (Hopefully, I can reorganise them all later.)

I'd recommend upload-mp3.com, as well. That's what I'm using. It's not perfect, but it does what you need it to do nicely.

Haha, I had no idea, thanks for that!

Thanks for the site BBladder, added to the OP.

I'm hoping I can make a sticky for it, when I looked at the thread to reference (I think it was Tips or tricks or something?) for how to do something like audio, it was very vague, so I wanted to help new people out like me to figure it out :p

Can anyone help me on Dropbox?
I've converted my file to a .mp3 format
(The sound, precisely, is the little ding noise you get whenever you go to the next dialogue frame. Like in the real PW games.)

I've uploaded it, but then when I use the link to sync the sound to my Trial, it has a problem of doing so.
https://dl-web.dropbox.com/get/sfx-pich ... w=8b8faf8a

My trials won't accept this link because it's not in what it wants it to be.

Looks like I have to get that link to a standard web format, but I'm not quite sure how :( could you help me, Phantom?

(btw, upload-mp3 never works for me :(, well actually, it works with my mp3s, but not with my sounds, I guess cause its 'mp3' :P)

Is it in the "Public folder?" And did you click for the public link? Because this looks like a private file. Put it in the public folder.

Ahh, that was it.
I made a folder just for PW stuff, but I didn't notice that you needed to use the Public one.
Thanks, it's working now. Problem solved. ;D

Okay, I'm having an issue with Dropbox. I did as you had it on the post, put it in public folder, added it in the trial editor, put in script, but unless I'm logged in to Dropbox, the sound doesn't play. Why is this?

Did you use the public LINK for it? (Copy public link, the url should end in .mp3)

Also, post the public link here and see if anyone here can play it. If we can play it, that means it works fine as is (you'll probably have to set your browser to auto-login/remember your password so you don't have to worry about thel ogin-issue, if I'm reading your post correctly)

EDIT: Nevermind, I found it. Now I feel like an idiot...

This would be easier to do if you downloaded Dropbox to your own computer. It uploads automatically and you can get the link MUCH more easily.

If you're doing it from the website, make sure the file is in the PUBLIC folder. Then go to the file, click the arrow and click "public link"

There you go shadow, use that public link you just posted in the audio tab instead. ;)
