What about the rarest of the rare, "The Deliberate Trap Set By the Player's Character?" This can be especially effective if the player is left in the dark for at least some of the scheme.

While there's an instance of this in T&T, I refer, of course, to... (SPOILERS)

Taking down Damon Gant.
This is hard to do well, but when it works, it really works. The converse, the "trap contradiction", where pressing or presenting puts the player into a bad spot, should probably be used with caution.
