Hey... this is very helpful!

:) I haven't played the games in a while and I don't want to go back and play it, so this is very helpful!

Thanks. :) It'll hopefully be even more helpful if I can ever be bothered to finish it.

I need people to pester me to finish this guide, because I'm getting the impression that more and more people are depending on it. :)

EDIT: I've added a few more sections. Tell me what you think, and if there's anything I've missed!

I like the new additions. Again, it's well-written. I guess you haven't gotten to the other parts yet?

Let's just say... 26 statement testimony.

EDIT: ...I fail, disregard this, I thought that thing with BP/Ryu about Silence was still on the first page XD

Everyone in the court could be greatly shocked by the contradiction (for example, "WHAAAAAAAAAT!?").
If it's really shocking, it sometimes shows everyone's shocked face witch the "Oh no!"-sound playing each time. You know what I mean. :P
You could have a hidden statement and reveal it after pressing another statement.
Doing this only when it's actually important can make contradictions too obvious. :P
On the other hand, doing this for no deeper reason is fun. :awesome:

Doing it five times in a row in the same testimony is interesting as well.
Currently working on a redesign of Court-records.net.

Well I don't want to go into too much detail with that. I think it's important to let people figure out things like that for themselves. :)

EDIT: It's done! Tell me what you think!

Meph, this is a GREAT guide! If there were any definite guide to the outline of a trial, this would be it. It pretty much touches on everything. This is great work and if I ever get the chance to make a full, regular trial I will definitely refer to it. Thanks!

What about a guide to investigations? :sideglance2: Gosh, I hate those. They're so hard to do, because you can easily get lost in them.

@Jean
Thanks! :D

@Mimi
Maybe in the future, I'll make another guide called "The Structure of an Investigation". ;)

The thing is, investigations are a lot more varied than trials.

^^ yeah, there is no definitive structure on an investigation: You just cover all the events that the story needs in order to flow, and every story flows differently so what structure works for one investigation may not work with another. I don't believe there is any way to be taught how to structure an investigation: It's just something you need to figure out on your own.

Of course, the only investigations I've ever written are both incomplete.

Well there isn't nessessarily a common structure, but I could write about the usual things that are in them. ;)

You could always resort to a simple example and stack them on to make a complicated one.

Or maybe you could write, "How to Make Good Investigations". :)
