Howdy there, I'm Darth Wiader (but you probably know this already). Welcome to a brand new AAO sprite competition. This time, your task is to create an AA-like sprite that should represent an athlete or other sports-related character (a coach, a referee, a mascot, etc.). All kind of sports activities and disciplines are valid. That includes motorsports, equestrian sports, pro wrestling (!), billiard games, mind games (like chess or go), and even unicycle polo.
There can be several ways to complete this task:
Edit an existing AA character. Imagine what kind of sports would suit them. All characters from PW:AA, JFA, T&T, AJ:AA, AAI, AAI2 (GK2) Dual Destinies and PL vs PW:AA are allowed. No Dai Gyakuten Saiban (or Ace Attorney 6) characters allowed. Ghost Trick characters are also ok. And remember - don't enter such characters as Jacques Portsman or Jay Elbird/Shūji Orinaka without making some extra edits.
Create an original character, like Leroy Daniels from Justice's Memoirs (I know the game is dead, but it's still a good example).
Take a sports-related character from different media (like Tōa Tokuchi from One Outs or Ivan Drago from Rocky film series) and redraw them in AA style.
Rules:
Only special sprites made for this comp may be entered.
You may submit several entries. They wil be judged individually. However, you may sprite two characters in one entry for disciplines that are usually performed in pairs (like acrobatic gymnastics or figure skating).
For characters from other media or more obscure sports, include a link that can provide some useful info about them. Remember, not everyone has heard of movies or sports you like.
The deadline for the competition will be on November 30, 2015December 14, 2015.
Judging method will be a poll.
This is a sports-themed competition, so remember about sportsmanship and fair play.
On your mark, get set, go!

In all seriousness: you have to more specific about what kind of character you have in your mind. PM me if you want to keep it secret until posting and I'll tell you if it is acceptable or not.
But if card games like bridge or computer games like Starcraft can be considered sports, then why not?
And for future clarification, fictional sports also may count, but they must be already ''existing'' fictional sports like quidditch, not something you've made up.

Someone. Do. This.
Right now.
I mean, given the overly dramatic situations, fancy hair and clothes and tons of shouting, Ace Attorney is basically non-physical (well, mostly ) professional wrestling as it is...
What do REAL, NON-BRIBED people have to say about HTB!?
"This really changed the way I thought about Phoenix as a character. ...Wow." - Reecer6
"HTB! contains truths that might be hard to stomach, but had to be unveiled nonetheless." - Blackrune
"This deserves a best plot twist award." - Evo
"It changed my life, and it can change yours too. For the better, I mean." - Calvinball
"I will never look at Phoenix Wright the same way again" - PhoenixRises123
"omg best thing on aao" - AceAttorneyMaster111 DISCOVER THE TRUTH YOU NEVER KNEW YOU DIDN'T KNOW IN HTB! PROLOGUE AND PART 1, AVAILABLE NOW!!
"Those people who think they know everything are a great annoyance to those of us who do." -Isaac Asimov "For every complex problem, there is an answer that is clear, simple and wrong." -H. L. Mencken
Right now we have exactly one month left to the end of competition.
And the amount of entries can be summarized as follows:
I'm very subtle at bumping threads .
