Don't pin this to yourself. I also knew nothing of those times. Heck, I know nothing from before I was born! I wasnt even sure if there were cameras back then when making Linday!

Besides, the general lack of interest is already there; a theme more relatable, so to say, would probably give one more entrant. I personally found this theme more challenging because I had to do research, but that was the fun of it, imo. I got ideas, and learned something about the 60's. So yeah, it was both fun and educating!

Yeah, let's be fair here, a lot of recent competitions have only have a few entrants and have needed deadline extensions to get there.

Besides the Khura'in one, but that competition was just some kind of freak anomaly.

Personaly i like the theme! It's quite original and like Nicky Boy said, i had to do research on the fashion on the 50's and 60's ans that's really interesting! I think people are quite busy or just dont want spriting!
My entry will come un few days!

Dang, I was looking up swing dance clothing and then realised that was a 40s thing xD
That's okay though, I'll just have to bump it up a decade or two~

Even if it requires research, it's still part of the design process I guess.
I looked into 60's fashion to get ideas for the example sprite, and I enjoy putting my own twist on different styles. But yeah, I'm seeing now the 2 decades alone may not've been the best to have picked alone.

If it's not too late, I wonder if we could expand to add the 70's in as well? Just to add more variety?
I'll see if Ann-nna's OK with this. Maybe if we get no entries before the extension we may (If you guys would like)

I'm fine with that. It's for the good of the competition.

(By the way, I updated Linday a bit, so check my post for that.)

We know, it's not cool to change anything so late, but we're adding the 70's. If you've already entered, feel free to re-enter if you want.

I think this will help people get more ideas and some inspiration to enter!

And yeah, Sorry Nicky and Darth for changing the theme after you already entered! If you prefer to do a 70's style character instead of what you already entered, then you're free to re-enter if you want!
(I liked both of yours, so it's up to you!)

XD I'm normally always worried with how I word things, and if I'm saying what I mean to say properly. I guess it just worked this time haha.

This reminds me of most partners in crime where the police station pairs polar opposites to do... things... and stuff...

Well, spriting with another era in mind won't make me any better yet, so I'll pass that offer. :|

I usually don't care how I say... whatever I say, but if somebody does it better, I notice just how bad I was. XD
