Description:
The trial is very self-explanatory, but the short version is that when save states are loaded, things such as sound, text color, on-screen evidence, and life bar flashing are not loaded.
How to reproduce?:

Support for music and on-screen evidence was planned, I just forgot to implement it.
As for the two others, I didn't even think about it, but it should not be a problem.

Further testing has shown that the state of having a black background is not transferred. A demo to show this is not available, but may be made available later. This post will be edited if such a demo is created.

On-screen evidence, currently playing music and initial black background (what you reported was not actually a black background set by the author, but the screen's state before any background was set) are now correctly saved.

Are there plans to support text color and penalty flash being carried over?
