I have a few questions:
  • Will you implement GK2-Sprites when they're done?
  • Will you add sprites for charaters who don't have sprites, yet, like you did with Bruce Goodman?
  • Will you add "completed sprites"? You know, some AA-sprites have missing parts, like Dahlia Hawthorne's or Olga Orly's and there are sprites done by users that fix that (e.g. Sligneris' Dahlia sprites or my Wellingston sprites)
I think, this kind of customization would help many users.

Thanks to Darklord Qwerven, Mick and SuperAj3. I mixed their Wellington sprites together and this is what came out. :D

Okay, that makes things easier. But if they aren't being implemented, I'm completing my own set by myself. Same for any other completion-sprite, I'm planning to do so far.

That's a good idea, but we'd need to get permission.

And we'll be adding new evidence and AAI sprites when AAO6 is out. But I'll be discussing with Unas how he wants that done.

If we get it, we can open up a thread with user suggestions, which sprites to implement. :)

Well, not before including the GK1 sprites, of course :-P
I hope to include all of those (GK1 and GK2) in the end though. After all, that's the whole point of desiging the V6 engine to be able to position characters like in AAI :-)
Mick wrote:Will you add sprites for charaters who don't have sprites, yet, like you did with Bruce Goodman?
I usually dont. Goodman was somewhat a mistake : it was Spparrow who added these sprites long ago while I was on holidays, if I remember well...
However, I might include unofficial sprites if :
  • They are of very high quality (looking as if they were official)
  • They really are useful. Meaning that they correspond to something that was lacking in the games but people are really likely to use in custom cases.
  • I'm allowed by their authors of course
For example, if someone makes prosecuting Lana sprites that look good enough, I'd gladly add them. Likewise, at some point Ceres had granted me the right to use his defense attorney Grossberg sprites - I forgot to add them, but that's definitely a possibility. Also, front-facing Phoenix, Apollo and such could be added... You get the idea.

If the completed sprites look good enough (again they should really feel like they're official), and their authors grant me permission to do so, I'd gladly do it. It would indeed be a convenient change.

About Wellington above, Mick and SuperAj3 gave their permission to upload them into editor.

And, the last, Darklord Qwerven didn't answer.

He posted them here, which I can interpret has similar function to our Resources thread, but I'm not certain.

By the way, I don't claim any credit for that, so please don't mention me in credits if it get uploaded. All I actually did was giving hands made by SuperAj3 to sprite made by Darklord Qwerven and animated them.

Thanks. :) I'll need to ask them if they're willing to use them without credit, because it'd be difficult to ask everyone to credit them at the end of each trial where the sprites are used. Also, I'll ask Unas if he can put credits in the Credits section on the site.

On the subject of custom sprites, you could always add my Phoenix Wright front sprites, if they're good enough, I think he'd would be good in cases that need front sprites of him and they don't want to use Hobo nor Feenie.

Collar is too small, compare it to defense sprites. Blinking is synchronized to talking for some reason, it shouldn't be. Also, right hand on the normal sprites and whole document one look weird...

No hard feelings, but to me they look far from official >_>

I have obtained permission from all of the original creators. I think all of them can be uploaded except "Crazy" sprite, this one where he's playing with his hair and face. This one requires a bit more work on it. I think it should stay cut-out so far.

Ripped directly from the game. The more I'm editing sprites myself to make them look better, the lowly I think of Court-Records's sprites...

Oh, and this:

See the difference?

And two others actually matching sizes with sprite above.

Edit: By the way, I'm making the whole archive of sprites... I think I'll upload it somewhere.
