OHMERGAHD DISH MOVIE ISH LIKE TEH AWESHOMESHOCHEE. O SHOMDING.
Spoiler : shpoilersh :
Fanboy talk aside, I found it to be really enjoyable. Ralph is too stoopid for his own good though. I guess I'm gonna have to give awards...

Best Scene: The race at the climax of the film. My favorite part is when Vanellope willingly glitches to escape Candy/Turbo.

Worst Scene: The 30th anniversary party. The high point was a mention of Mario, and even that didn't do the scene justice. Felix's lines seem forced during his private conversation with Ralph, while Ralph's cake debocle was just plain WEIRD.

Most Frightening Scene: King Candy's Plea Bargain. Seeing Vanellope screaming in terror like that... *shudder*

Most WTH Scene: Nesquick-Sand. Nothing more needs to be said.

Best Character: This is a toughie. I'll have to give it to Turbo/Candy. Like a lot of Disney Villains, he's ruthless. However, he shares their trait of being sympathetic in a horrific sort of way, which is an amazing trait for a villain to have if pulled off right. He did.

Worst Character: Vanellope. She got the least development out of all the characters, making her 2-dimensional in comparison with the rest of the main cast. As a character, she didn't really deserve her coronation at the end. I did like her "IMA EXECUTE BULLIES lol jk" moment though.

Character with the Most Potential: A tie between Vanellope and Tamara. Both could've been developed a lot more than they were, though Tamara was a notch higher on my list because of her "backstory".

Character with the Least Potential: Again, Turbo/Candy. Nothing more needs to be said.

Funniest Line: "She's programmed to have the most tragic backstory ever."

Best Cameo: Ryu drinking what appears to be beer or some other liquor at Tappers.

Worst Cameo: Satan at the Bad-Anon conference.

Best Plot Twist: King Candy being Turbo in disguise.

Worst Plot Twist: Vanellope being princess of Sugar Rush.

Best Moment of Foreshadowing: The medal from Hero's Duty being tossed into Sugar Rush's code. It's totally unexpected when it comes up later (Candy messing with the code so he can give it to Ralph, creating the Most Frightening Scene), which is why the moment is so brillantly played.

Worst Moment of Foreshadowing: Diet Coke and Mentos. Seriously, Disney? Resulting to old parlor tricks for a Chekov's Gun?

Only two weeks to wait for the DVD? Ha! I laugh at your optimism.
Skyfall came out like November last year and it only came out like last week.

...it's not like Wreck-It Ralph also came out last November or anything.

...and it's not like the DVD release date hasn't been confirmed already or anything.

So I went to see it today. IT WAS AMAZING.
Spoiler : Contains movie spoilers :
I appreciated all the video game references and the plot in general was quite good. Some of the product placement got on my nerves a bit (Diet Coke Mountain? Beware of falling Mentos? Come on...) The Hero's Duty segment reminded me of Aliens and I can't have been the only one who got diabetes from Vanellope and the Sugar Rush segment in general.
All in all, a fantastic film with a few minor drawbacks. 9/10.

Spoiler : :
I don't really think those were product placements. I think they're just popular sugary items, and they did serve a purpose to the story at the end. :P
HIROSHI-SAMA IS STILL THE GREATEST.

[3/19/14 11:31:51 PM] Nick (Hodou): yeah I'm thinking that's the idea.

I think that this film is good. But I can't do a review because I am not good at writing long posts.
