[RP] Flytrap Canyon - A Steampunk Western

Post by Sleuth »

Image

The year is 189X, in an alternate version of the American West, where steam power has advanced technology to new and amazing levels. A Pinkman Co. train carrying 1 million dollars worth of gold has been suddenly hijacked, and the robbers were last seen fleeing into the territory of Flytrap Canyon, where they are suspected to be hiding out. In response, the Pinkman Corporation has hired a group of gunmen to hunt down the robbers, and capture them, dead or alive.
Flytrap Canyon is an RP revolving around two player groups: the Bandits and the Hunters, and what happens as both sides meet. Whether they fight or flee, betray or befriend, is up to the players. The game will be largely player driven with minimal (if any) GM interference beyond maybe a few OOC instances. It is intended to be a free-form, open story for fun and writing experience. Players are only required to follow standard RP etiquette. Otherwise, I encourage you to go nuts.

The game takes place in a semi-futuristic steampunk version of the wild west, where steam technology has allowed for advancements such as communicators, machinery, and medicine. There are no hard limits set so far, and no ideas will be outright rejected unless devised for specifically non-creative reasons (e.g. a character specifically designed to grief another player). You can create up to two characters for now, but are allowed to create as many as you'd like if one gets killed, leaves, or you simply wish to replace them.
Spoiler : The Hunters, The Bandits, and the Townsfolk :
There's two kinds of people in the world; the people who are Hunters or Bandits, and the people who aren't. Players can join as one of the following roles. The game will begin when there are at least 3 Hunters and 3 Bandits.

Hunters: Rounded up from all parts of the world and hired by the wealthy Pinkman Corporation, these Hunters have been sent out to hunt down the gang of bandits that stole 1 million dollars worth of gold from a Pinkman Train. Whether they be lawmen, bounty hunters, mercenaries, or even criminals themselves, it's the Hunters' job to go into the Canyon, hunt down the bandits, and capture them dead or alive. The Pinkman Corporation pays very handsomely, but you won't see a dime unless every last one is dead. Oh and returning the gold would be nice, too.
Minimum 3 Players needed, More can join later.

Current Hunters:
Margot "Minerva the Magnificent" Lestrange (DLA)
The Drifter (Got)
Rachel Pice (NN)
Alexis Lockwell (GD)
Blackwood Graves (Enigma)
Molov Peiric (Gom)
Maline Desiren (Mono)
Michael Hackler (songotenman)

Bandits: A ragtag band of bandits who teamed up to pull off one of the biggest heists in recent history. How, when, and why they got together is as of yet unknown, but what is certain is that they've fled into the Canyon, and they've only got each other on their side. With 1 million dollars worth of gold on their person, and a hideout located somewhere in the Canyon, their choices are to fight, flee, or maybe just lay low and hide. Hopefully this crew will find that there's honor among thieves.
Minimum 3 Players needed, Others can join later.

Current Bandits:
Jonathan Connor "The Traitor" Gull (Alnar)
Zoie Kaji (TAR)
Tia Colitio (NN)
Natashi (DSY)
Kenneth Roymond (GD)
Worm (Enigma)
Sonia "El Cuervo" Reyes (DLA)

Townsfolk: Stuck in the middle of these two sides is the mysterious, run down town of Flytrap, smack in the middle of the Canyon. Sustained by the River and having little contact with the outside world, the Flytrap Townsfolk make their simple living and want nothing more than to survive another day. Why and how they got here is unknown, but they know the Canyon better than anyone else, however, and it hardly seems they'll be able to stay neutral in this conflict for long.

Townsfolk not taken by players will be considered NPCs, and are to be controlled by the players.
No minimum or maximum.

Current Townsfolk:
The Goatman and The Kidd (Sleuth)
Harvey Copper (Got)
Victoria "Vikki" Farone (TAR)
Gabriella LaFonte (Dave)
Spoiler : The World of Flytrap Canyon :
Flytrap Canyon's world will be left mostly open for the players to construct, but there is some history to it! These are a few notable aspects of the Steam Guns rules to take into consideration.

- Healing tech is limited. There are no cure-alls just yet. There is no cure for Death.
- Robots/androids are around. Their AIs are primitive, though, and they are primarily used for cheap labor and the like. Not highly regarded by society.
- Much of the world's steam tech is developed privately by inventors, rather than corporations. However, organizations like Pinkman Co would very much like to change this...
- Because Steam energy is relied upon so much, Water has become a much more precious resource, especially out here in the wilderness.
- Flytrap Canyon is home to a wide variety of wildlife, including bears, rattlesnakes, and as one might suspect, flies; Lots and lots of flies. No one yet knows the exact reason why Flytrap Canyon gathers so many of these pesky insects. Some say its a curse on the land-- Others say they're drawn to all the dead bodies. Either way, let's hope they invent steam powered bug spray real soon.
- Pinkman Co is one of the biggest corporations out in the west. What do they do? "Everything".
Spoiler : Flytrap Canyon :
A box canyon in the middle of nowhere, and constantly engulfed by the buzz of thousands of flies, Flytrap is considered a dead zone, even out here. Despite that, a small, dirty town seems to manage out here, and the Bandits have seemingly taken refuge in the bug-ridden lands. Where you make it, and how... That's up to you.

Important Locations are:

Flytrap Town: A ragtag town of the same name, Flytrap Town is home to an odd bunch of outsiders. How they got here, only they really know, but they could be integral to outmaneuvering your opponents. Perhaps these strange fellows will be the ultimate deciders of which side comes out on top.

The Graveyard: There's a saying that nothing lives long in Flytrap-- Even so, the Villagers keep a dedicated watch for corpses and find them a nice space in the ground to remember them by. Characters that die will be remembered here.

The Workshop: With all that equipment, you're gonna need people to repair it. The Workshop is home to engineers and handymen who'll keep your tech working and brimming with fresh water... provided you've got the cash. Word is that so long as you've got the cash, they don't really care who you are.

The Tavern: It wouldn't be the Wild West if there weren't one of these. The Tavern is the only place for entertainment and relaxation, plus the only spot with working 24/7 bug repellent. Hear you can listen to tunes, catch up with old friends, and probably most importantly, make direct calls back to civilization via the Long Distance Communicator. Problem is that there's only one, and it costs a pretty penny to use. Better make those calls wisely.

The Nameless River: The nameless river of Flytrap, running the length of the canyon. It's a pretty rocky ride, but keeps the townsfolk alive with fresh, if a bit muddy, water. It's said that if you ever get lost in the forest, just listen for the river and it'll lead you back home.

The Forest: Between the Mouth and the Town, there's a forest terrain all around the Canyon, host to a variety of wildlife and trees. Good for hunting, bad if you get lost without any gear. This far from civilization, you've only got your guns and your wits to protect you. Rocky terrain, underbrush, and hungry bears will keep you on your toes-- Perfect for a deadly ambush.

The Mouth: In Flytrap Canyon, there's only one way in, and one way out-- The Mouth. Being a box canyon, all there's only one break in the large walls, which is the only escape for anyone trying to break out. It is here that anyone entering Flytrap must come through, then through the Forest, till finally, they reach the Town.

The Hideout: Word on the tumbleweed is that the Bandits have some kind of hideout somewhere in the Canyon. Whether that's true or not is up to time.

Spoiler : lets get this party started :
Names: The Goatman and The Kidd
Age: 50 & 21, respectively
Occupation: Farmer & Sheriff
Group: Townsfolk
Gear:
(Goatman)
Bone Whistle - Used to call goats. Only the Goatman can quite seem to use it.
Walking Stick - A sturdy piece of wood that helps one walk about.
Farming Tools - Pickaxe, hoe, the usual.
--
(Kidd)
Revolver - Just a regular old six shooter.
Collapsible Riot Shield - A rusty metal shield carried on the user's arm. Can be deployed to shield oneself from bullets, explosions, or fists. It's been well-worn over the years and looks like it might break at any second.
Badge - A shiny gold star that names Kidd as the sheriff. It's polished regularly.
Other: Nicknamed "The Goatman" by the other residents, Goatman is a taciturn man of Hispanic descent, and the town's number one provider of goat milk. He raises and herds a group of goats around his humble ranch, and doesn't seem to really need much else from life. He says little, though he understands English, he gave up trying to speak it a long time ago. His son, known as "The Kidd" is the town's humble sheriff, and what he lacks in gunfighting skills, knowledge of the law, or basic common sense, he makes up for with confidence. He's a personable fellow, though people sooner run to his father when trouble arises, but he does try to do his job when push comes to shove. Word on the street is that he only took the job to get away from the smell of goat poop.

Spoiler : app :
Name: Margot "Minerva the Magnificent" Lestrange
Age: 26
Appearance: Image
Occupation: Con Artist Entrepeneur
Group: Hunter
Gear:
Organ Grinder Mk. II - Looks like an ordinary organ grinder, but the front panel opens up to reveal a gatling gun, which fires as the crank is turned. Stolen by her off an Archibald Heifer III.
Supply of whiskey - For medical use and otherwise.
Cabinet of oddities - Filled with strange trinkets she's found or purchased during her travels, helps her make her livelihood.
Socrates - Her pet cat, doesn't really do much.
Other: A French immigrant, Margot came to America with her parents when she was younger. Eventually, she went out west to seek her fortune. To do that, she decided to scam some fools. She traveled from town to town displaying her collection of oddities, selling tickets to see it, as well as pickpocketing unsuspecting audience members and selling various bottled crap she claimed was magic. She made no effort to hide the fact that she was conning people, and law enforcement eventually caught wind. The Pinkman Corporation happened to notice her predicament, and offered to pay off the right people if she'd help deal with their bandit problem. She doesn't care much for charity, and will usually only help people if there's money involved or it's some kind of emergency situation.

Spoiler : The Drifter :
Name: "The Drifter"
Age: 33
Appearance: Image
Left is out of uniform, right is in uniform. His hair is black and falls to the middle of his back with the right side largely shaved off. He's Native American and slightly dark skinned. His metal arm is a dark gray metal with some lighter grays in the framework, as is the Gatling gun attachment. His casual tank top is navy blue. His jeans are pale blue. His boots and gloves are black with gold trim, and the boos feature golden trim of a fireball design going down their length. His coat in uniform is navy blue with gold trim and buttons. His poncho and hat are beige with black trim. The locket on his hat is gold with a black raven feather sticking out. His mask is brown with gray metal air filters and his goggles are brown-rimmed with black lenses. His bandana is white and red checkered. The images at the bottom show the fireball design on his boots, him with his briefcase for perspective, his face both masked and unmasked, his locket, his machete, and his briefcase.
Occupation: Whatever pays. Usually this means assassin, bodyguard, or bounty hunter, but he's not picky. Currently contracted by Pinkman Co. as the latter.
Group: Hunter
Gear: -Robotic right arm. Heightened strength compared to a regular arm and as natural to use as a real arm for him. Detached and goes up to his shoulder.
-Gatling gun attachment for his right arm. He can remove it at the forearm and place the gun in its place. 6 barrels, 5 seconds of charge but rapid firing speed. Only works when attached to his arm, ineffective solo.
-Multiple strings of bullets for the Gatling gun. He makes an effort to always have them on hand. They connect into a slot on his upper arm to load them into the Gatling gun.
-A long briefcase, which keeps the Gatling gun/arm attachments inside (depending on what he's not using). Also where he keeps all of his strings of ammo. He carries it everywhere, and it has a handle and a long leather strap on it for him to do so.
-A short machete, not much longer than a forearm. He uses it for close combat and keeps it in a leather sheath strapped to the back of his belt.
-A mask and goggles, used mostly for keeping sand out of his face during sandstorms and for keeping his face hidden.
-A small gold locket with a feather sticking out pinned to his hat.
-A lighter and a pack of cigars he keeps in his pockets.
Other: The Drifter is, as one would expect from his title, a rather mysterious man. Few have seen his face, as he keeps it covered most of the time (I've included it for convenience to players) and his motivations are vague. He's gotten a bit of a name for himself as the quiet cowboy with the metal arm carrying heavy firepower and crushing anyone who he sets his sights on, and nobody wants to be the one he's hired to kill. That being said, he doesn't make himself scarce or indulge in rumors, and he's often seen alone at a bar occassionally removing his mask to have a drink and smoke a cigar, rarely saying anything to anyone who doesn't talk to him first and being quite light on conversation. Nobody even knows his name; they only know him as "The Drifter" due to his tendency to always drift to different areas and jobs, never really staying somewhere for too long. People who have heard more than whispers know not to cross him, though, as the jobs that require him to use firepower have always ended in his success.

The one thing known about how he works is that he'll always go for the highest price. He seems to have very little personal vendetta in his jobs and will take whatever can get him decent money. It's been said he once turned his back on a job for an assassination when the man he was hired to kill offered a higher price to off his original contractor instead. Rumors even say he was seen caring for an aristocrat's dog when they were out of town once. He isn't exactly described as a greedy man, but he seems to prioritize making a profit over most other things. Currently he is employed by Pinkman Co. to hunt down the gang of bandits, but should he be given a higher price that contradicts this order, he'd not unwilling to switch sides.

Misc. Details: He's said he was left-handed, but his metal arm compensates and makes him essentially ambidextrous. Despite his skill with heavy weaponry and his machete, he's been said to be an okay at best shot with a six-shooter revolver. I imagine him as voiced by the VA Robert McCollum.
Spoiler : Harvey Copper :
Name: Harvey Copper
Age: 35
Appearance: Image
He's fair-skinned and decently tall and lanky. His dress shirt is an off-white. His pants, blazer, and bowler hat are brown. His vest, tie, gloves, shoes, and hat-band are black. His mask is plated copper with two shining yellow lights for the eyes, which can glow rather brightly. Beneath his mask his eyes are blue and his hair and small beard are black. Shown in the side images are him with and without his mask and hat, the contraptions for his small pistols (see Gear section), and him in more casual attire (sans the jacket, vest, and hat in favor of rolled up sleeves and suspenders) showing more of these contraptions.
Occupation: Lawyer, politician, unofficial Pinkman Co. spokesman, and aspiring mayoral candidate
Group: Townsfolk
Gear: -A special mask strapped firmly to his face. It wraps around his head with the exception of the top of his hair and his mouth-nose area. He can hear out of it fine despite it covering his ears. The eye areas are yellow lights that supposedly allow him to see even with damaged eyesight and glow rather prominently; these can be turned off and on at whim. The eye-plates can move to the sides of his head and he can remove the contraption by doing this and unlatching the jawstrap, but he never does so in public.
-Two snub-revolvers hidden in his sleeves. Each arm is fitted with a contraption that can push the guns in and out of his sleeves with a flick of the wrist. The guns and contraptions are thin enough to be largely unseen beneath his coat sleeves. Each arm has one pistol that holds 4 rounds of ammunition, which he only occasionally keeps backups for. He does not use these much and keeps them more for self-defense than anything.
Other: Harvey Copper was a simple lawyer and politician, and considered a rather good one at that. He didn't have a huge name for himself, but his colleagues spoke well of his skills as both defense and prosecution, and he was held in high regard by his clients. His verbosity was admired, and he was said to be able to talk himself out of any danger. However, his fate had been sealed when he had the misfortune of being attacked by the brutes in the same gang of bandits that had robbed the Pinkman Train! He was left in critical condition with severe burns over his eyes and his hearing and vision severely damaged. However, due to the wonderful technology developed by Pinkman Co., his life was saved and he was given a contraption to return to him the gift of sight and sound! He returned to the courts a new man, and the public began to take note of the lawyer with the glowing eyes. He began to share his story with the masses, and his popularity skyrocketed. His story was a sympathetic one, and his speeches were so passionate and captivating that he became a local symbol of the benefits of Pinkman Co. and the dangers of those filthy bandits and their kind. When Harvey reveale his plans to run for mayor, his popularity only rose further, and despite the accident that tragically befell him, he sits comfortably amongst the most popular candidates for the future mayoral position and is one of the most famous men in all of Flytrap Town.

....At least, he CLAIMS such an accident occurred.

In reality, Harvey made the entire story of his miraculous survival up. He pulled strings to get a mask that doesn't hinder his senses and began to string a fictional tale of his being attacked and saved in order to boost his own popularity in preparation for mayoral elections. Despite his reputation as a kind man, Harvey's cunning and conniving, and willing to make up any fib and stab any back necessary for his own benefit. His excellent social skills allow him to manipulate people with ease. He knew the public would love a good sob story, so he made one up. In the process, he also built a scapegoat for the public out of the bandits, and is willing to do so further, as the public would far more easily believe Harvey's word over theirs. He also has built good relations with Pinkman Co., ones he wishes to keep, as he's well aware what a job as an official spokesperson for them could do for him both financially and for his position. He's also built ties and given loans to small-scale robotics corporations, only to rat them out to Pinkman Co. in a letter so that they'd face more pressure in the industry and have to push back their return payment to Harvey more and more, increasing the interest he earns as a result, until they inevitably crash and are forced to sell everything they have to pay Harvey back, earning him more money and Pinkman less competition; a win-win situation. Although he's not known for being a bruiser, the massive web of deception that Harvey has spun and maintained makes him a fearsome enemy and a concerning ally, and nobody is left the wiser.

Misc. Details: He's not a bad shot, but he isn't a fighter, and prefers to settle things with words and mind games than fists or bullets. He can mess with the lights on his mask and make them flicker at whim just to amuse himself. The mask itself is unblinking and unemotive; his expression is hard to read due to only his mouth being visible. He doesn't drink alcohol, nor does he smoke, but he makes a point of letting others do so. I imagine his being voiced by the VA Sonny Strait.

Spoiler : And crash landing from outer space, here comes... :
Name: Jonathan Connor "The Traitor" Gull
Age: 31
Appearance: John has a rough, hardened look, something he gained during his time as a Bounty Hunter. He has a haircut similar to a crew-cut, but of medium length. He has dark-blue piercing eyes and a scar over his left cheek. Though he usually wears black oval sunglasses. He doesn't wear a hat due to the fact that he believes it just makes him an easy target. He wears a black-pinstripe vest over his white-dress shirt with dark-gray pants and black, knee-length boots for his legs. Over his chest is a bandolier where he keeps his ammo.

Occupation: Ex-Bounty Hunter
Group: Bandit (Formerly Hunter)
Gear:
-Customized Multi-Purpose Gun, specially-made by John himself. By adjusting the attachments around, the gun can serve as a sniper rifle, an SMG, or a shotgun. Usually slung on his back when not in use.
-Bow, thanks to modern engineering, the bow is collapsible, allowing John to have it on him despite having a rifle on his back. The bow is made of a sturdy metal and has a sight that allows for easy-aiming.
-Arrows, retractable arrows John keeps in a small quiver attached to his hip. Aside from the normal arrows, he has a few other kinds, grappling, electric, smoke, and explosive.
-Bandolier, strapped over his other shoulder, contains ammo for his rifle.
-Revolver, it's just a revolver. Nothing special about it.
-Dirk, long dagger he uses for other purposes more than he uses it for close-combat.

Other: John is a highly-skilled marksman that is proficient in any projectile-based weapon. He's been a bounty hunter for a long time and was originally one of the Hunters contracted by Pinkman Co.. That is, until something caused him to join with the Bandits. Whatever it was, it was worth killing the two other hunters he was with at the time. He has since then been branded as "The Traitor" by other Hunters. He doesn't particularly mind, there's good money on both sides anyway. Even tension among the bandits are high when it comes to him, as they think he'll betray them and return to Pinkman Co.

Not much of a talker, but he'll speak when spoken to. He'll throw-in a snarky comment in there somewhere. He also likes to come up with nicknames for the people he encounters, and will often use that nickname over their real name.

Spoiler : App 1 - Thou-Knowest-Who :
Name: Zoie Kaji
Age: 13
Occupation: None
Group: Bandits
Gear:
-Baseball Bat - Whack 'em! Made of wood, has seen much use.
-Pistol - Medium 6-bullet handgun, stolen from her father. Neither are too great with it.
-Canteen - It's been empty for a while, now.
Other: Ran away from home due to personal drama she'd rather not get into. Also, money sounded good. So when she caught wind of a bandit heist coming around going for big money, she knew that was the time to bolt. She took her trusty baseball bat, her ignorant father's handgun, and a canteen, and hasn't looked back, despite being in poor condition, physically and mentally.

Due to being young, Zoie's rather short (4'10") and flat-chested. Has black hair dip-dyed white done up in ridiculous puffy twintails, and big, dull green eyes. Usually wears a faded red hoodie that's falling apart, and black sweat pants that are ripped at one knee. Her clothes are a little too big for her. Zoie never really understood the concept of patience, and is prone to violent fits. She also tends to ignore her filter, accidentally saying or doing things she immediately regrets. Despite this, she is still a kid, and can get excitable and sensitive like one, although those times aren't super common.
Spoiler : App 2 - The OTHER one :
Name: Victoria "Vikki" Farone
Age: 25
Occupation: Bartender
Group: Townsfolk
Gear:
-Lucky Cigarette Case - Keeps this around, despite not smoking.
-Pistol - Small six-bullet handgun, gotta prevent those bar fights somehow!
-Pinkman-Brand Steam-Powered Vision Retardant - Basically pepper spray, but with STEAM.
Other: A born resident of Flytrap Town, Vikki knows most of the town residents, some a little better than others. She seems to be on good terms with most people, however, she can't stand drunken idiots. Being a bartender at the Tavern, it's not something she can escape easily.

Vikki is relatively tall (5'11") with short, red-orange hair and deep purple eyes. She's rather... well-endowed, and her life spent in Flytrap Town has given her a bit of a tan. She usually wears a plain, grey top underneath her signature brown long-coat. Doesn't typically wear anything too revealing, and she's usually wearing something like hiking boots. Vikki tries to be friendly toward everyone. It helps business, after all, but it's often forced. Vikki has a hard time letting things go, and forgiving people. She WILL hold grudges, so stay on her good side.

Spoiler : Rachel Pice :
Name: Rachel Pice
Age: 20
Occupation: Bodyguard
Group: Hunter
Gear:
Rachel has:
- an unusually large red halberd can convert into a shotgun.
- A large bag containing shotgun ammo, water bottles, and a good deal of candy
- A white ring on the ring finger of her right hand
- A small pocketknife which she keeps in her left pocket
- Sunglasses
- A pocketwatch

Other:
Rachel is, outside of combat, an extremely perky and cheerful girl. She continually attempts to keep everybody's spirits up and is supportive whenever an individual is having difficulty. During her job, however, she is calm, collected, and determined; she is basically single-minded in her attempt to accomplish her goal, though she has a personal resolution to never kill unless it was absolutely necessary. She adores sweets, especially candy and cookies. Despite her job she is something of a romantic, believing in the inherent good of people and having faith that people will do the right thing. However, she does have pride in her occupation, declaring herself to be a defender of the innocent. She also is relatively proficient at martial arts, though she tries to avoid using them. Recently, however, Rachel has begun to have more hesitation to taking jobs due to getting a girlfriend, and it was only a result of said girlfriend's urging (and the monetary incentive) that she agreed to take on her latest job.

Rachel's family is one of bounty hunters, and she was trained to be one from a very early age, and was given her weapon (Which she dubbed "Raging Strife") when she was 15 years old. She became a bounty hunter shortly afterwards. To many, it defied reason that a girl as young as Rachel should be so skilled. She quickly got more and more high-profile jobs. Most of these jobs went without a hitch until she was sent to guard a young businesswoman named Winter Simarius, and quickly fell in love. Though her parents frowned upon her getting into a relationship so young- worried that it would impact her eagerness to take on new assignments- the two remained together, content. Rachel continually brought up the idea of quitting her job and finding some other occupation; her suggestion stemming from both pain at having to be away from her girlfriend for extended periods of time, and that one day she would end up dead. Winter got her a white ring as a result, saying that this way she could be with Rachel no matter where the bodyguard went.
Spoiler : Tia Colitio :
Name: Tia Colitio
Age: 18
Occupation: Unemployed, though she makes a living as a thief
Group: Bandit
Gear:
- Tia's weapon is a black pike that converts into a machine gun.
- Tia has a small sack that contains water bottles, a pistol, a knife, and ammo.

Other:

Tia is a quiet girl who only speaks when she strictly needs to. However, she takes a good deal of pleasure in fighting, it being the only time she truly shows emotion. Though she puts on a superficial guise of civility, she will use any dirty trick in the book that she can think of in order to gain victory, and takes joy in inflicting pain on others. She doesn't truly trust any of her fellow bandits but also feels no particular need to betray them unless it became strictly necessary for her survival.

Tia lived on the streets for most of her life- her mother died in childbirth and her father was a deadbeat that had left after getting her pregnant. As a result, she quickly became adept at both stealing and fighting- both necessities in order to survive. Said survival became much easier after she "procured" a weapon from a store. She had also accumulated various underworld contacts, whom were extremely useful when it came to obtaining supplies.
"With good friends by your side, anything is possible. If you really care for each other, it makes everyone stronger! Then you'll have the will to succeed! The world is filled with painful things, it's sad sometimes, and you won't be able to handle it by yourself. But just know: If there's someone that you love, you'll stay on the right path. And you won't ever give in! As long as you keep that person in your heart, you'll keep getting back up. Understand? That's why a Hero never loses!"

@NN: Double accepted. We've now hit the minimum to start the game!

Before we get going though, I'll leave apps open a bit longer just in case some other players want to get their apps in. I know at least a few more are, so this is the time to get in. I'd like to start the game pretty soon.

Spoiler : app or something :
Name: Natashi
Age: 23
Occupation: Barber
Group: Bandit
Gear:
-Revolver: Simple Six Shooter
-Black Domino Mask: Mask that covers eyes, she never takes it off
-Safety Gloves: Special gloves designed for delicate tasks, such as lock picking, safe cracking, sorting, and other things that require steady hands.
-Special Scissors: A special pair of twin scissors designed for cutting things. Blades are stronger then any normal pair of scissors and can easily cut through many hard objects
Other: Natashi is a cowardly, and a bit greedy, barber. Usually only out for herself, she would quickly change sides if it meant saving herself or benefiting her in some way. Her lifelong dream is to live a life of luxury and be rich. She is a barber, and a relatively good one too. As a bandit she mostly deals with unlocking things, pick-pocketing, and other delicate procedures. She prefers to keep a low profile, away from the action.

Natashi is a barber by trade, but fell into heavy debt to a criminal gang and needed to pay them back. Despite paying them back, the gang forced her deeper and deeper into debt, threatening her business and life. While looking for a way to clear her debt she found out about the Pinkman Co. train heist and joined up with the bandits. Natashi, not wanting to get in trouble with Pinkman donned a mask to hide her identity from the Pinkman as well as the other bandits.
Never speak in absolutes. (Which is a round about of saying I came back. Hi.)

Spoiler : ooc :
Will apps be open after it starts? I was thinking of doing a bandit, but I don't have a working laptop charger right now, and the earliest I think I'll be able to get one is this weekend.
