[CE][T] Turnabout Reformation ●

Post by XavierWright »

Turnabout Reformation
In a universe where Phoenix Wright never lost his badge, Trucy skips over to Eldoon's Noodles, where she happens upon a defense attorney who doesn't seem to be enjoying his career all that much. On the same day, Maya Fey is arrested on the charge of murder. The young defense attorney is tasked with the objective of proving Maya Fey innocent. However, some trauma from a past case causes the young the defense attorney to falter during the case. Will Maya Fey be proven innocent? Or will she fall victim to a guilty verdict?

See my review in the Ticking Time Bomb comp thread for what I thought of this one. I had a good time with it and would recommend it.

Was a nice time playing this, the only other thing I've played by XavierWright was The Strange Case of the Turnabout which is currently incomplete. Reformation is a shorter and presumably simpler story, but the story it tells is solid. Plus now that it's not haunted by TimeAxis and I judging it for its theme relevance, I think more people will be able to appreciate the tone/pace it's going for.

Whoops, I forgot to add the walkthrough. Did that now.

Short and simple but fun.
Spoiler : :
It was pretty obvious from the start that Rosalith was gonna be the victim's sister. But I think there is something more to this case(I know it ended but something doesn't make sense with me)
I don't think the reason victim's father wrote that will was because he didn't care who got the fortune. I thought that at the end, it was gonna make a turn and we were gonna understand that Ian was not just a innocent person, but an accomplice in the case that worked with Rosalith so she can take the will. That would be more sensible, and it would explain why he wrote the last child will take the fortune. Probably that's just my interpretation and I think that case wasn't fully solved, but it was fun.
