I check the whole bed, including the pillow. I also check for screws like in the previous bed. If there are any, I unscrew them and get another spare metal pole.

I guess that the smudged numbers were supposed to show, "266".

You already have one metal pole, plus the anesthetic gas.  You decide against carrying a second pole.  There is nothing in the pillow or the bed.

Woah... they do match! With some of the paper at least.  It looks like you are still missing a scrap of paper.
