Re: [T][CE] A Turnabout Called Justice ☆ (Finally released)

Can I ask how frequently you're editing the game and what kinds of edits these are? I just tried to reload a save from a few days ago, and I got a warning that you had edited recently, which may result in inconsistencies depending on how severe the edits are.

Re: [E] Invisible Textboxes

I was asking only to get a sense of where this should be in my priority list. Without going into details, while I want to get back to AAO work, this is not a very good time for me.

If you want to take this on, Pasch, that's the best case of scenario.

Re: [E] Invisible Textboxes

Okay, can you give me an example of a scene like this in the main games, that has text but not the grey textbox?

Re: Case lag after 2000 frames.

I've experienced this lag myself. While I'd love to do something about it, unfortunately time is in very short supply for me right now, and I can't commit to both understanding the issue and doing something to fix it. Unfortunately, I don't have any suggestions that would help with 5000+ frame parts...

Re: [E] Invisible Textboxes

No, it is an option. Click on the purple name-box in the editor and select "None". If you can't see that, tell me what browser you're using.

Re: [E] Invisible Textboxes

Why can't you just click on the textbox in-editor and set it to None?

Re: Need help here!

Pechenuxa, could you be more specific about what you want to happen? I can imagine any of the following possibilities: * The "introduction conversation" does not actually change, but you add a new talk conversation. * The player sees the "introduction conversation" once, but the ...

Re: [T][CE] A Turnabout Called Justice ☆ (Finally released)

If you're not in the throes of competition deadlines, I'd like you to look into a bug for me: Starting around Frame ID 3213, when Apollo is pointing out Jane's inconsistent happiness, the judge seemingly randomly appears on a lot of sprites. Could you check if this is a bug in your script, and if so...

Re: [P] Text speed going too slow on Firefox

Having multiple audio tracks play on mobile is a much more complicated endeavor - not something we're worried about right now.

Re: [T][CE] A Turnabout Called Justice ☆ (Finally released)

Okay, my schedule has lightened up enough that I can get back to it. I finished skimming the investigation. It didn't seem like much changed, but not much needed to, so good here. Minor points: I think that I went to talk to Lamiroir, didn't see an option to go to the detention center, left the Anyt...

Re: [P] Text speed going too slow on Firefox

My initial tests aren't showing a speed difference, but they're not conclusive. The thing to do is test this on my local version of AAO, where I can add a timer on the text typing code.

Re: [P] Text speed going too slow on Firefox

sigh Why must browser inconsistencies in the text system plague me so?

I'll add this to my "list of things to investigate," but it's not going to be at the top.

Re: Using court sprites in an investigation

For my future reference, the problem is in the transition from frame ID 20 to frame ID 19. The minimal working example should just be two frames.

Re: Using court sprites in an investigation

Could you give me a link to a trial where this occurs, and tell me exactly which frame numbers are the problem? If you can make a minimal trial that displays the issue, that would be most helpful.

Re: [E] Correct objection sound

Sent a request as Enthalpy#8974.

In future, please be more specific than "incorrect" vs "correct." I don't know what it means for a sound effect to be "incorrect." Are we talking about a microsecond cut off at the beginning? A difference in audio quality?
