Re: Update Incoming; Help Wanted

The upcoming code doesn't just support "music to silence" and "silence to music", but "to silence" (fadeout) and "to music" (crossfade) more generally. You'll be able to fade the volume of a track up, or fade from one track into another. "fondu de fermetu...

Re: Update Incoming; Help Wanted

Yes, I'd appreciate that very much. There are two translations I'd like checked: A closing tag for a text effect is missing. The game cannot continue. -> Une balise de fermeture pour un effet de texte est manquante. Le jeu ne peut pas continuer. and Fadeout -> Fondu In context, this is a piece of mu...

Update Incoming; Help Wanted

Development news Update Incoming; Help Wanted Things have been quiet on the AAO development front lately. For those who aren't aware, the AAO development team as of late has been myself, ThePasch, and Unas. Unas has been clear that his time was very limited, and others would need to take the lead o...

Re: Double bug report

The first bug is a matter of not typing a color change tag correctly, and the trial player not knowing how to parse it. To make this clearer, I'll try to have an error message pop up, explaining the issue.

The second bug can't be reproduced.

Re: [T] A Dinky-Di Turnabout ●

I'm not claiming unreliable narrator but incomplete narrator. We never see Frank walk out either. That just means he walked out in the middle of the jumpcut between the game start and when Jonesy kicked it in. My concern is, what if Jessica left at some point during the footy game? Maybe she had to...

Re: [CE][T] Paint Ghosts Over Everything ●

I gave the game a play. I only figured out what the case was trying to be after playing it, so I thought the case was alright on a first playthrough but would probably enjoy it much more on the second. I can spoiler this if ikuzonos wants, but here's some non-spoilery guidance on how the case "...

Re: Delete account

If you want to be banned, I can do that. If you want your account to be literally removed from the AAO database, that's beyond what I can do. Send Unas an email to pursue that further.

Re: [T] A Dinky-Di Turnabout ●

Finished the case! This was pretty simple, but fun. The Australia gimmick was fun, and the pacing never dragged for the kind of game this was. The graphics in general are polished. The custom sprites definitely help, and the revisualization mechanic came out very nice! If you're looking for a light ...

I suggest you ask on a dedicated minecraft forum. This topic is about something else entirely.

Re: How do I resize a sprite?

You need some program to edit the image file. Your first step is to pick one. There may be a way to do this in-browser, but I'd download a free image editing program, like GIMP.

The walkthrough would have been helpful, but I was aiming for a hint rather than the answer.

I'll keep going through this after work.

Re: [T] A Dinky-Di Turnabout ●

I've started playing this case, but am stuck on the first CE with Frank. It sounds like we're not looking for a contradiction here, but just something that looks good for the defense. I can think of a couple: * If it was a close game, then the only way for the motive to work is if the murder occurre...

Re: Transparent Fades: Tip/Workaround

Huh, neat. I can look into adding native support for this, but some music improvements are higher on my priority list. I recommend you rewrite the first two sentences of your tutorial to make the difference clearer. I've never heard of "transparent fade" meaning "fading to/from transp...
