Re: The ability to export cases into standalone EXE

That makes no difference, legally. Assets are already downloaded into a user’s cache every time they play a trial. Not to mention there are various sites like court-records or the Ace Attorney wiki that host capcom’s assets directly and haven’t drawn any additional attention for it. If anything, AAO...

Re: The ability to export cases into standalone EXE

Oh, yeah, I misunderstood, that makes sense. It wouldn't even need to be an exe, just a modified webpage that could be run locally offline in your browser. As far as I know (although I could be wrong), the only PHP stuff that's currently baked into AAO is the stuff for verifying a user's account to ...

Re: The ability to export cases into standalone EXE

Importing files from your computer is likely never going to happen because it would require the AAO servers to host your files. I agree with the idea of having some solution for being able to download all the assets of a trial, a copy of the player, and a backup of the trial itself that can be playe...

Re: [M][C][CE] Colton Owen: After All's Over ●○

I just finished The Sublime Turnabout. It was pretty good. The one criticism I wrote down was "Having to examine the whiteboard again to progress, even if you've already examined it, was weird." That stumped me for a bit. Ironically, I played this whole case thinking it was the winner of R...

Re: [M][CE] Champion of Turnabouts ★●

As promised, the brief epilogue to Champion of Turnabouts has now been released. I didn't feel like it needed its own thread, so here it is. I honestly have no idea how this will be received, so fair warning: It's bizarre and has virtually no target audience. Still, I hope people can find some enjo...

Re: The Year of Luigi

I'm not officially dropping out, but I'm leaving this message as a sort of "don't be surprised if I end up not submitting". I still haven't started in the editor for my entry and am kind of dreading doing so, as I bit off a bit more than I could chew with this one. Not saying it won't happ...

Re: The Year of Luigi

I've accidentally gone and gotten myself inspired, so now I have to enter. I'm going to try to avoid sharing anything about my entry this time. But I guess I'll say in advance that it's more of a high effort shitpost than anything. Maybe look forward to it, or don't. Anyway, I'm entering for now.

Re: Into the Takumi-Verse!

The ceremony was really funny and made me want to try all the entries even though I don't have nearly enough time to.
Spoiler : :
Congrats to GD for the victory, and to everyone else (including me :maya: ) for participation

Re: [Tool] TimeAxis's Scripts (Keyboard Control, Backlog)

I've made a script that adds a Backlog button to the left of the Lifebar. This one should be compatible with the keyboard script with no issues. Haven't tested it on any super long cases, so feel free to let me know if anything breaks. Backlog Script: I have a terrible memory when going through case...

Re: [I][CE] Sidelined Futures ●

Played through this and enjoyed it. As it happens, I asked the comp judges how long it was before playing, and DBA said 3 hours and 40 minutes, which matched pretty much exactly with my playtime, and I felt like I was going through it pretty slowly too, so others may get through it quicker. While I ...
