Re: [E] Seeing where Elements are used
I wouldn't say a button or a menu would be the best way to do this. The way I see it, just have a little icon somewhere on an item's frame; hovering over it would display frames that depend on it in a little tooltip. That's non-invasive, self-explanatory once you've hovered over it once, and doesn't...

Re: Sounds will cut-out mid-trial!
Sandoozles: The next time this happens to you, could you hit F12 on your keyboard while having the AAO browser tab in focus, navigate to the Console tab in the new dock that opens, and let me know if there are any lines of text with a red background ? Those would be (mostly) Javascript errors; some ...

Re: Request to add missing sfx/music
If it's too much to host, I understand. I think that was one bit of the rationale that I've seen about this topic in the past. Another is that this is a 2D case maker, in the style of the old DS games, so including DS5+ content would feel out-of place. It would also either mean only including it pa...

Re: Development news: Forum upgrade
Posts on the front page still seem like a mess of BBcode. Do you have any idea what could be causing that, Unas?

Re: Development news: Forum upgrade
Looks snazzy! A couple CSS glitches here and there, and the forum doesn't automatically switch to your browser/OS language anymore when you're not logged in - it's French by default. Also, it looks like there's a problem with formatting on the frontpage ( at least in the German version ). And all us...

Re: [Music] ThePaSch's Magnificent Musical Muse
I'll just keep the "one track every six months or so" pace up - it's been six months or so, and here's a new track! This time, it's my turn to raise my finger, get those vocal cords going... and raise an OBJECTION ! As always with DS-era themes, please don't just use it in your trial - ask...

Re: [S] Unsecured Site Triggering Antispam/Antivirus
I'm guessing this is because the site does not utilize HTTPS. I wasn't aware that there's already security software out there that makes it mandatory and blocks any site that doesn't use it - the portion of the web where this is the case is still quite large, I think - but that means there are plent...

Re: Negatives
Currently not possible without external software, but there's something in the works that might help with this. Can't say when it'll be available, but right now, your only option is some sort of image editing program.

Re: Ringtones and sounds
We won't be adding the ability to upload files to AAO - sounds or otherwise - as that would require us to host those files on the AAO server. This is not feasible for many reasons. There are plenty of external services that allow you to host MP3 files; check out this tutorial for one example. As for...

Re: Custom Button Features?
From what I've gained from Dopeboi's posts, it's basically the ability to display a clickable custom graphic in an arbitrary location on the bottom screen and tying an action to it. While I don't think it should allow users to put it in a truly arbitrary location, I think putting it where the Magata...

Re: Custom Button Features?
I agree that a feature like this could be pretty useful. I don't like the idea of "hardcoding" an action into the widget, though - that would make it rather inflexible (if, for instance, you'd always have it redirect to the same frame, regardless of where it appeared). We might have it poi...

Re: Feedback Wanted! CSS Effects
Personally, the ability to transition from one picture state to another would be a must-have feature. Even if it's just transitioning one CSS property at a time; going from a slightly blurry sepia or greyscale picture to a clear colored one in a variable amount of time is something I've been wishing...

Update AAARGH!!

And I'll just say that one of the upcoming updates - though not the next one - might be very interesting to the OP!
