Hello all,

The Based Turnabout part 1 and 2 are no longer private.

Many things have been censored, and some of the logic has been fixed, and some parts have been elaborated on more to remove confusion.

It still contains swearing, but hard cusses are removed. The heaviest bad word is the "sh" word

For context, one of the authors reached out to me a month ago to clarify AAO's policy on swearing. I'm removing public access to this trial for a different but related reason: there's some explicit content in Part II of the trial, which goes beyond swearing and is absolutely not allowed. The authors have been warned, and further violations will result in ban time.

I'll be in touch with the authors when I've finished playing the case to discuss how this fits in with AAO content rules.

for the record i played through this literally hours before enth took it down; I actually enjoyed it. the humor generally works (one joke honestly didn't sit well with me, but the rest was generally fine -- even the one really "OH GOD WHY WOULD YOU PUT THAT ANYWHERE" thing). in spite of the goofy nature the crime is actually... a crime to be solved, so that was neat

having said all that there was no way this wasn't getting taken down lmao but pretty sure the authors knew that so

guess this is aao contraband now

AAO Border Patrol has finished our inspection and authorized a version of the case to be exported to the general public that retains the spirit of the pre-inspection version while upholding the policy of Chief Unas.

I gave shizleboy extensive technical notes on case logic and parts that needed to be clarified, so I'll stick a to high-level review here:

I enjoyed this quite a bit! This isn't my style of humor, but the trial still made me laugh. I can say from experience that a good comedy trial is hard to pull off, and especially one that tries to be a trial at the same time. Some logic hitches made the jokes fall flat for me in Trial Latter, but I assume those are mostly patched up now.

I'd recommend giving this trial a try. If you're not enjoying yourself by the end of the first CE, I don't think you'll care for the rest of the case, but this case is the best "dumbass comedy trial" I've seen on AAO to date.

I'll be the first to admit that I wasn't the biggest fan of the case at first so I turned it off after a bit. But after seeing positive remarks from DWaM of all people, I gave the case a shot and...it definitely made me laugh so kudos!
