And thank you BBblader, as always, for your support. 8)

Also...
Strife wrote:TheFifthAce: will you incorporate the idea of cop spies in the plot?
Do you mean in the plot as a whole, as in the upcoming cases in this series?
Well, I'm talking about the general plot, mostly. :]
Yes. That will reoccur as a theme later on. 8)

QA Review
Chapter 1
  • Use the series link feature to make all of the parts into a series.
  • Remove the location typewriter dialogue from the prologue.
  • Phoenix uses the Steel Samurai ringtone.
  • Good opening!
  • Frame 60 needs a timer.
  • Put a space after ellipsis.
  • Correction / We will now read the verdict of Kristoph Gavin! / I am now ready to declare my verdict.
  • Use a timer of 300 and use the correct sound effect for the Guilty sprite.
  • We don't know if Klavier is from Germany, so remove the reference to the country. "(Apparently they don't have sarcasm back in Germany.)"
  • Critical error: In investigation location 1, I am unable to move when clicking on the "move" button. I have fixed this for you.
  • The "???" should be shown in blue speaker box for Fallborough until he reveals his name.
  • The following dialogue overflows the dialogue box: "(She was still upset about Klavier, but once Leo mentioned that he was bringing along Luminol testing spray...)"
  • The background for the computer room must be remade so that it looks like a computer room and has a dead body in it.
  • The broken computer evidence must be remade.
  • ...and the door. :P
  • The AA games never actually mention that they are set in LA.
  • Think of a better option than "the door is a lie". :P
  • Check for many other dialogues that overflow.

I'm sorry this review is taking so long. Things are coming up that I need to sort out. Hopefully I'll be able to get the rest of part one done tomorrow.

I'm done. Sorry about that. I'll begin with the other parts when you've implemented the recommendation at the top of my list. ;)

Most of the requested changes have been made. I'm just not sure how I'm going to make a background for the computer lab. I don't have any experience with making custom backgrounds.

If you need help with any sprites, I can make an urgent art request for you in the art forum. :) We'll worry about that once the review is done, though. ;)

That reminds me I still haven't found anyone who can fix Vasquez's sprites. Anyway FifthAce, making backgrounds is actually much simpler than you think: just take a photo of a computer lab and all you have to do then is play around with GIMP or Photoshop using filters for saturation and sharpness until you get the desired result. I'll see about making one for you.

QA review
Chapter 2
  • Computer and door sprites still need fixing.
  • Correction / (And for complaining my ears off...) / (And for knocking my ears off...)
  • Check for overflowing dialogues.
  • Correction / You've got them working on Case Thirteen, don't you? / You've got them working on Case Thirteen, haven't you?
  • Put a space after an ellipsis.
  • I love this quote :XD: "Now I only use this whip at the beginning of each trial... and then once more at the end."
  • In the cross-examination, you have set the colours of the statements incorrectly.
  • When Apollo objects in a cross-examination, make the music stop during the "Objection" sound, not after.
  • Make sure that characters' mouths don't move when they're whispering.
  • Franziska shouldn't ask the defendant to prove that he didn't know where the key was. It's for the same reason that witnesses aren't asked to prove what they saw is true.
  • Use the Shouting sound effect for Leo instead of using Edgeworth's Objection sound.
  • Put Leo on the witness stand, not the co-council.
  • Put the following dialogues into the same frame: "But that doesn't mean that he was the one who opened the safebox!" "And I can prove it!"
  • Correction / Hold on I can do this! / Hold on. I can do this!
  • Use the "Display evidence" action when characters talk about a piece of evidence.
  • There seems no need to stop the Confess the Truth theme and start it again. Instead, stop the music when the player gets it wrong, and keep it playing when they get it right.
  • Correction / The real murderer planted it on him of course! / Someone else planted it on him!
  • Use variables to make sure that the player has pressed all of the statements in the cross-examination.
  • Is there a better name for the club than "Day by Day"? You could use a foreign translation of the word "blackmail" for the name.
  • Delete the frame that shows Franziska being angry after Rose said "Always, Franziska."
  • Phoenix should also appear on the witness stand first. At an appropriate time, he should move to the co-council.
  • Use Allegro on the Witness Testimony as well as the Cross-Examination.
  • After Apollo says "And that's because the computer was destroyed by a different bullet!" people should be surprised before Franziska asks for proof.

I've finished my review of chapter two (rhyme not intended :P )! Sorry it took so long. Somehow, I've been very busy on the computer this week, so I haven't had much time to do it. I'll see if I can get chapter three done later tonight. :)
