In the xat room, I was offering to write poems about various characters. Enigma requested one about Cross. Naturally, spoilers ahead.
Spoiler : Acrosstic :
"Acrosstic"

Games of pure chance may favor prudent men,
Risks, when well-weighed, are kind to the prepared.
In failure, we find means to stand again,
Make a quick strike, and win more than we dared.

Did I say we were playing games of chance?
Ah, then I lied. I planned this from the start.
Rooked all along, marched neatly through the dance,
Kings toppled, you all played a perfect part.

Pain burrows through my skull (where conscience won't),
Racks me with chills, and leaves me stumbling blind.
Oh, do you think that's justice? Well, I don't;
That pain would still have come if I'd been kind.
And who got the last laugh? Heh. Here's a quiz.
Guess who.

    not me

         but let's pretend it is
"A slow sort of country!" said the Queen. "Now, here, you see, it takes all the running you can do, to keep in the same place. If you want to get somewhere else, you must run at least twice as fast as that!"

Hi, I seem to have run into a bug on Part 3. Just after the frame where Masterson says
Spoiler : :
"...Needed to have his name taken, well, fake name, at the security front."
it cuts to a shot of cross smiling at the bench with his hands by his side, but nothing happens; there is a fastforward button but it does not do anything.

Hi there! I played this a while ago,and loved it!
Spoiler : :
Though I think the ending was a bit too dark.Still,I loved the twist that cross was the villain!Probably one of the best twist I have seen.I also thought it was pretty original that he only way to proceed past the final rebuttal is to lose.I could say some more things, but I don't have the time right now.Still, this was a pretty good case!

I'm glad you liked it!

And, to be fair, given the direction everything was going...
Spoiler : :
...there really wasn't much of a chance for a happy ending no matter how you looked at it.

Spoiler : :
Actually... not really, in the long run. Cross would "lose" in court, yes, but the central ending wouldn't change much.

I mean, Masterson would still go to jail and Cross would still die. Hell, even in the normal ending he's still going to jail because he told Christine to rat him out. Hell, you could argue that this version of events is arguably even worse for Christine since she wouldn't have a way out (in the current ending she can at least be spared considering she stepped forward and ratted Cross out, from the prosecution's POV, at least - in this scenario she'd just go down in flames with Cross) and thus mostly likely spend even more time in jail.

Hell, when you think about it, the only people that TRULY walk away from the thing "good" are the judge and Eileen!

and we just

can't have that

im sorry

either everyone is miserable or nobody is miserable

Does anyone know the name of the music that played when Dawns was giving her opening statement? It also played when Cross was decodeing the text message from E.

Excuse me for bumping.
Hey! :larry: Loved this trial! Hardest one I've ever played. I played through it twice now, second time without the walkthrough.
Spoiler : :
The true ending was... awfully dark to say the least. I personally prefer the other one because it just seems a bit brighter. Although they're interesting, I'm not a fan of dark endings. No hating, mind you.
The adult nature of this trial surprised me. No dramatic breakdowns, "stiff" animations, wordy dialogue, and the humor progressively going down as the trial gets more serious... I'll be darned if this wasn't beyond my wildest expectations of an Ace Attorney trial. Well down.
This was an awesome trial, and I appreciate all the effort that went into it. :larry:

That was a really good case- my favourite so far. Really liked the fact that
Spoiler : Spoilers! :
you had to lose in order to proceed,
and that you were constantly challenged to present evidence or enter information in a variety of ways. All in all, a fantastic job
Spoiler : :
Had to look at the walk through for the super-objection though, needing to present 4 pieces of evidence was not particularly logical, especially considering that you needed to present both profiles

to @PoshBoyGee:
Spoiler : :
Umm, don't you think that the ppl who are watching this will know that they have to lose so that they could win?Doesn't it counts as a spoiler?
To Anyone:
Spoiler : :
Is it bad that I didn't allow my older brother to complete the game because he found out that Masterson is the killer as soon as he saw him?

If information needs to be spoilered, you can send a report as well.

I just wanted to give you some of my feedback from what I've played of the case, so far!
I think I'm only half-way through part 1, however I can determine a few things.
Few criticisms, a lot of other things.

-The first two testimonies are quite long
-The spelling and grammatical errors are rare, but occur often enough to be noticeable, to me at least.
-The music is somewhat off-putting, however that's a personal nitpick

Criticisms aside...
-The conversations between the characters are fantastic. The characters are great. Backstories are well established.
-Cross-examinations are well done, and enjoyable.
-The time and effort put into the project is quite clear at this point, commendation for that.
-The reasoning at this point in the trial is valid, and I look forward to what happens next!

Great case so far!
Spoiler : :
I realize the last reply is nearly a year ago... sorry for the bump.

PLEASE keep spoilers inside spoiler tags. As to your question...
Spoiler : :
There is no way to beat the cross-examination. As DWaM says in the walkthrough, you can only fail this.
