Game where you play as a Prosecutor

Post by Clarkesteban »

A game where you play as a Prosecutor and defend witnesses in cross-examination (usually) against the defense. Would anyone be interested in that? There'd still be cross-examination, but a lot less of he traditional Cross-examination, and more of a "Prove your evidence is solid" type of thing. Maybe even make it a bit freer, asking you what witnesses to take to the stand, or things like that.

Would you play that case? I'm considering making one, so I'm interested in other's thoughts.

You are not the first one to think of this idea, and I think the problem is that I don't think playing the prosecution side could ever be as interesting as playing the defense side. It'd be great if I could be proven wrong, though

I think you could make it work. You just have to switch it around and what makes some of the Prosecutors seem interesting, and turn it into gameplay. Like... outdated Autopsy reports, and the like, expect you present the report. Might be a bad example, but I hope you understand what I mean. I'm working on bear bones case to show what I'm talking about.

also, big fan of the videos.

Ace Prosecutor Zero.
It's my fancase, you play as prosecutor and you have new mechanics as well.
It's only in Italian but I'm working for an English translation. You can find the Italian trailer on my Youtube channel (I'm not sure if I can post it or it's considered as spam).

Yyyeah... It's the cost I had to pay for making the case as I wanted.
inb4 The case has so many frames the servers go down.

(By the way I'm searching for a female voice shouting "Objection!", if any of you is interested, please contact me.)

I'll definitely have to play it when it's translated! How many frames does it have, though?... I'm curios, now.

Sorry for waiting, just wanted to say it's now available.
You can find the website in my signature.

As for now I don't think I'll post a specific thread about the case... I'm not sure.
But you can play it anyway.

I think it does deserve a thread; it looks like you put way more effort into it than I ever did.

It's a bit complicated...
While I put a lot of effort for this fangame and I want to spread the case on the Internet, I'm not, and probably I will never be physically, mentally and spiritually ready for a direct confrontation with the AAO "vips", because I know the game isn't perfect and their opinions might have a bad effect on me. This doesn't mean I'm not for criticism, but I'm very sensitive and I need an entire day to prepare myself to just read a review.

I should probably care less. Maybe it's the weigh of these 4 years of development in my back...
