We're in dire need of some REALLY last minute beta-testing. PM for details - we really need people, so please, if you have some free-time, consider testing for us. Thanks!

Yes, Ferdielance and I will be hosting the next competition. We have our theme selected, but why ruin the surprise?
Beta-testing reports are very valuable to produce great cases! I urge anyone with the time to take any entrants up on their beta requests.

I've got a question. If we find gamebreaking bugs in our entry, are we allowed to fix them, even if it's past the deadline?

I guess as long as it's only critical bugfixing I'm fine with it, but please let me know of the changes you do when you do so.
And it's clearly only for bugfixing : don't you go writing or rewriting whole pieces of the story after the deadline
I'll know it if you edit the trial past the deadline, so don't try cheating
Also, I've just sent a PM to all declared participants, but in case I forgot anyone I'll write the instructions here too.
So that we can evaluate your entry, please send me a link to your trial in a private message which subject starts with [TBAOTL][EN].
You can PM me the link now and keep working until the deadline if you wish.
Do not publicly release your trial, as it will have to remain private during the first phase of the evaluations.
Thanks

Yep, pencils down everyone !
I have received two entries for evaluation :
MercurialSK + drvonkitty
enigma + hershel_layton
I'll leave a little bit of time to other entrants to send me their link - after all, I only sent the PM today, so with timezone issues...

So, I guess this will be a duel between Team Hersh Grumps and DrVon SK (I assume Unas will announce if the other entrants do manage to have gotten in?)
Well, then. May the best team win. Let us both have a fair fight. Good luck, you two~!

Obviously.
By the way, will there be a period between judging and showcasing to allow contestants to edit and improve their trials? I'd much prefer to do work based on the judge's feedback and also fix up anything I've noticed or didn't have time to do before it's shown to the public. ^_^"

I do not plan for such time, as I intend to submit the trials to public vote when done with the first phase of the evaluation.
However, you will of course be free to improve your trial once the whole competition is over, after the end of the vote
