Clarify the first question, please. Can you give an example what you mean by outside events influencing the room?
Is there any mechanism by which someone outside the room may influence the inside of the room?
For example, pressing a button on the outside activates a laser gun on the inside that kills Hobo-Phoenix.
Spoiler : Blue :
The "room" is an incinerator. Kristoph Gavin burned Hobo-Phoenix alive. He activated the incinerator from outside of it while the door was closed and never entered it himself.[

The cause of death was blunt force trauma.
Phoenix died instantaneously when hit by the blunt object.
Blackrune wrote:Is the fact it's Kristoph and Phoenix relevant/helpful?
The fact that Hobo-Phoenix is the victim might be helpful.

I could think of some ways to influence the inside of the room from outside in real-time.
However, at the time of death, Kristoph was not close enough to the room to do any of these.

See above.

"Time of death" refers to the the time of Hobo-Phoenix's death.
Kristoph bought Hobonick a cabinet of "grape juice" bottles as a gift, and arranged them so that when the door to the cabinet is opened all the bottles come out and bash the opener in the head. Kristoph arranged the cabinet on his own, then hired a moving company or something to carefully bring the cabinet into the Wright Anything Agency. When Nick came back and opened the door, all the bottles came out and killed him.

Spoiler : :
The blunt object that hit Phoenix was indeed a bottle of grape juice.
However, Kristoph never touched the bottle of grape juice or the box it was kept in.
The murder weapon was the door. Kristoph led Phoenix to a room and allowed him to enter first. As Phoenix crossed the threshold, Kristoph slammed the door shut, striking Phoenix in the head with enough force to kill him instantaneously. Never mind, I forgot he wasn't even nearby
Is the murder weapon something you can hold in your hand?
Is the murder weapon an object one would think of as a weapon?
Is the murder weapon a bottle?
Was the murder weapon used for its intended purpose by being used to kill Phoenix Wright?

The blunt object that hit Phoenix Wright was a bottle.
That should answer all of the above.
