"...it is probably too soon to speculate about these."

Re: [CARR] The Den of Deception
The group enters a room with large windows giving a view of the sea. There are some screen chairs set around a table with a potted plant on top. There are also some more chairs on the other side of the room, with some matching footrests and a couple of smaller tables. There is also a glass shelf that has some potted plants on it, along with a small statuette. On the west side of the room is a black statue of a bird, sitting on a small pile of something like dust, facing the wall.

More statues. Great, Blaze thought ot himself. If there's one thing that always stopped his swift investigations, it was large quantities of potentially relevant information.
He just couldn't help but note it all down, and there's unfortunately an upper limit to this assessment speed.
He goes over to the glass shelf to make out the details of the small statuette.

"Haha'... statue fetish much?" I scoff. "It probably all connects to some greater motif too." I cross my arms. "When we go back through, I'll take a few notes on the ones we've seen so far." as I speak I walk up to the table, and rather ungraciously, attempt to lift up the potted plant.

Another statue? Even though Boku had a suspicion that these were a dead end, it was probably worth a cursory examination at least.
Boku took a look at the dust-like substance under the statue.

Re: [CARR] The Den of Deception
The statuette is a white, classically-styled woman in a flowing robe.
The pot naturally has some weight to it, since it's filled with soil, but it's small enough that it can be picked up. There's nothing on the table under the pot, or on the bottom side of the pot.
There isn't a dust-like substance under the statue. Rather, the statue depicts a bird perched atop what appears to be a dust-like statue. Or rather, sitting on top of something. Because it's a solid statue, it's hard to tell exactly what it is, but from the shape of the statue it seems like it's supposed to be some sort of dust-like substance.

"Well, this is definitely a plant." i remark, returning to where I left it. "Any of you find anything cool so far, or should we move on?"

Re: [CARR] The Den of Deception
The statue was odd, but there wasn't much to use to judge its relevance at the moment, from what Boku could tell. Better to move forward.
"Nothing important. Ready to go whenever." He emphasized the last statement with a slight shrug.

The red-haired detective simply continued by moving through the southwestern door.

Re: [CARR] The Den of Deception
The group enters the breakfast area. A large wooden table stands in the center of the room, with simple but elegant chairs surrounding it. Two clear vases with flowers on them are set on the table, with a bowl of fruit in the center. A grandfather clock ticks away on a side of the room. The various lamps and light fixtures give it a cheery feeling, and the doors on the north side can be opened to let in light from the porch. On the west side of the room hardwood stairs lead up to the second floor. Near the concave corner in the north-west of the room is another statue set upon a pedestal, or a vicious three-headed dog, facing north.

"...There are definitely too many statues in this house. Starting to doubt looking at all of them would be efficient."
Blaze, determiend to pick up the pace, swiftly moves through the door directly west of the door they entered from.

"Here here" I say tugging at my bracelet. "This house is starting to give me the creeps."
I watch Blaze walk tot eh door, seeing him go off, I decide to approach the staircase, looking up, and begin ascending the stairs
