Although I probably won't be crossing by New Jersey or Texas any time soon, if I do, I will certainly give you guys a ring!!

E.D.: Yeah, I really like cooking actually, though my wife does the bulk of it. She's really good, so I may as well not get in the way. ;) One of our favourite shows to watch together is "Good Eats", which is basically like "Bill Ney the Science Guy" for cooking... Well, we like it!

"Good Eats" is a great show. If anything else, that's where I learn most of my cooking techniques.

When you guys argue, who is most likely to win? :fran:

Haha! Well... as with all good relationships, we usually find some compromise that works for both of us, so in the end we both win. ;)

Green, green, always green. It's beautiful, it's vibrant, it's lively, it's hopefully, it's awesome. Everything good about a colour exists in the colour GREEN!!! :D

Green is one of my favorite colors too. When I was a kid, all the toys I had were in the "cool color" range, but my favorites were mostly green.

Ah, so as a teacher, how are the students over in Japan?

The students here are very shy in class... especially when it comes to English. They are afraid of making mistakes so much that they usually don't want to even try speaking in English, and we teachers have to more or less force them. However, they are very attentive, and well do any activities that you get them to do; they aren't slackers! They are very cute too, and are respectful to you as the teacher. Once in a while I get a student who really wants to learn English, and that is always fun, as when you teach them some new phrases and such they get really excited. All in all, they are good students, but sometimes too shy. :P

Kidding aside, have you considered martial arts?

...I'm moving to Japan ASAP.

Actually, that may have something to do with it. A lot of the Japanese people I know, myself included, seem rather shy or are at least soft-spoken. Then again, there's my brother... :sideglance2:

Well, sarcasm is harder for me to detect in type, even with the smileys... But it IS something that I've noticed. I was actually wondering if Japanese kids were like that in Japan, or if it was just the people where I live. But, then again, I guess personality and the way you were raised also has something to do with it... Ah, I'm getting off-topic.

What's your favorite animal and why? (Real animal, or if you don't have one, then imaginary.)
