Was 2011 the worst year for pop music, and if not, what was?
Oh, hell no. Hell no. This was a pretty good year for pop so far. Video's, no. Songs, yes. The VMA's are just awful at knowing what makes the industry good.
We did have a share of awful, awful songs. "The Rape Song also known as Tonight(I'm Loving You)", "The Time", "The Lazy Song", and "Anything by Nikki Minaj" definitly don't paint a good picture for pop, but I can say that at least half the songs on any of Billboards Top 20's of any week, I enjoy. Even if it's just a small segment of the song, I can find something that I like.
There are bad trends like the never dying dance song, and the white guy ballad, but in my opinion the good out-ways the bad.
I'll probably go into greater detail in my Top 10 Best and Worst Songs of the Year.
I can't really say what the worst year has been, since I only really started following it last year. But that was certainly worse than this year.

Hmm... let me ask another thing. Er, what brand of toothpaste do you use? XD
Whatever one I buy. Currently... Colgate.

Sweet.
To me, Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey to be just above perfect difficulty. My only real problem is that if your main character dies, it's game over. And many demons have insta-death spells... Besides that, the AI being intelligent, demanding you make critical choices every minute of the game, and downright brutal costs for sucking at it, are amazing to me. If the game didn't have insta-game overs, it would be perfect difficulty.
EARN YOUR HAPPY END, PEOPLE.
And with that, I open the doors to the next MotM. Hope the community has more questions for you, person that actually matters.
