Re: Legend and Mythology [New competition]
Well, yes and no... It's also kind of up to Mecurial SK and, possibly, the mods as well... Because, well, this is sorta iffy, you know? Just a little...

I PM'd Mercurial with the link to the competition and he said it was fine, but I don't know if he's seen my edit. If it's inadmissible, it's OK.

Well, she did say...
You have to explain this one. Cuz it looks like Athena as Athena Cykes and not the mythical goddess. If you cosplayed Athena as the guardian of Athens OR the Goddess of Wisdom, then it's more likely to be accepted.Phoenix ace attorney wrote:only if you represented in the mythological gods

Re: Legend and Mythology [New competition]
I'm sorry, your sprite is not acceptable because it is not sufficiently changed.
As said EDRevolution would require that your sprite is more like the greek goddess.

Re: Legend and Mythology [New competition]
Theoretical question: would I be able to submit three separate characters, as a set, as one submission?

Wouldn't they be judged separately?Lind wrote:Theoretical question: would I be able to submit three separate characters, as a set, as one submission?

Re: Legend and Mythology [New competition]
It's hard to explain without giving away exactly what I'm planning, but what I mean is, they're sort of three parts of the same whole. But at the same time, I would be designing three new sprites.E.D.Revolution wrote:Wouldn't they be judged separately?Lind wrote:Theoretical question: would I be able to submit three separate characters, as a set, as one submission?
It's sort of like how the Lamiroir & Machi sprites are both lumped together as one sprite when they're at the witness stand together.
Re: Legend and Mythology [New competition]
Oddly enough, I think I know which mythological figure(s) you're referring to, although I could very well be proven wrong.

I feel as though my entry would be quite obvious

There's more than a few myths that work as three parts of a whole. There's an entire Wikipedia article for it.FenrirDarkWolf wrote:I have an inkling too...TheDoctor wrote:Oddly enough, I think I know which mythological figure(s) you're referring to, although I could very well be proven wrong.

You could still have guessed correctly, though.
So, Phoenix Ace Attorney, is that a yes or a no on me being able to submit a sprite like that?
