In the interests of preventing future recursions of time, thoughts on rules capping maximum voting time and how long judges have to post results?

I think although it's slow, if the judge has a fancy shmancy showcase they're preparing, they should have as long as they need. We can wait, right? clcman
However, if a judge is just announcing the results, maybe a week cap? three days?
As for voting limits, a month is plenty.

Eh...Posting results, don't really care. We're all just doing this for fun after all, so there's no real sense of urgency when it comes to announcements. Especially when the contest creator has something special planned.Enthalpy wrote:In the interests of preventing future recursions of time, thoughts on rules capping maximum voting time and how long judges have to post results?
Although one might argue a voting phase of a whole month is a bit excessive.

Yeah, for me, it was more the one month voting period that was a bit excessive.Mr. Incognito wrote:Eh...Posting results, don't really care. I have been like all day drawing and god, I haven't finish the surprises! I'll draw one hour more and if I don't finish these surprises today I'll sadly have to delay the announcement of who won until tomorrow. Next time I'll do something less complex or that takes me so long to do.

Sorry it's taking so long Hesshie. Even if I know i didn't win I'm excited for these prizes!
Maybe if this happens in the future you can announce the results, then PM the prizes? Might take some stress off finishing quickly.

That's a bit harsh to say, isn't it?
