...but what does the advancement button graphic have to do with an arrow in the textbox?

The functionality of this arrow has been implemented through a different system.

The "fast forward" button and the "proceed to next frame" button are now different. Unless anybody sees a reason to do otherwise, I'm going to be closing this suggestion as given an given an alternate implementation.
