Yeah, that's pretty much it! Just send us your case using Private Messages by the end of the day July 20th (note that that is only TWENTY days from now, so you should probably hurry) and we'll do the rest!

So, I'm a little confused, how is anybody else supposed to play it?

Or are the trial entries for your eyes only?

After the trial is created, am I allowed to post a link to it on the "your trials" section?

This is the rules link you want. But here's the basic rundown:
On July 20th, you need to set myself and AwesomeYears as Playtesters (go to the Trials Manager and click on the case and you should find a place to do it alongside buttons about "Metadata" and "Collaborators"). Then, PM both of us a link to the trial. This will allow us to play the trial even if it is not set as public.

You can make your trial public and put it in Your Trials at any time after that you want, though many people wait until judging is over so they can get some feedback from the judges and maybe change a few things. The point of case comps is to encourage people to make cases that they make public, so everyone can enjoy them!

Hey, so I'm officially announcing I'm dropping out.

It's kind of embarrassing for me to be dropping out this late without anything to show, but that's genuinely just because I have done absolutely nothing on it and forgot all about the competition. Life's been surprisingly rough in quarantine, and it's really been extremely draining for me.

Sorry if I disappointed any of you (if you were somehow hyped by the mere placeholder name of the case or just really wanted to see my work), but I just haven't been feeling it.

This seems like a great theme, actually, not just from the quarantine point of view, but overall. You get to explore the themes of anxiety and maybe intimacy a bit better. I'll probably do something related to this in the future. Looking forward to see everyone's work on it.
