I've started in the editor. (Technically only about 100 frames so far, but they're good frames.)

My initial estimate of this being about the scope of Champion of Turnabouts was a significant underestimation. I didn't factor in how much time the assets would take, but I do have the majority of what I need done at this point.

My goal before the deadline is to at least finish the intro and a short ways in to give a good idea of what the case is about. No more hypeshots though (unless I am fickle and change my mind).

I've passed frame 3600, which marks the end of the writing for the free-roam section of Sidelined. After this is much more linear, which means a much lower workload for silly old me.

At first my main interest in this case stemmed from the gameplay (which is still what I'm most proud of here), but as the story developed I became a lot more attached to the plot and characters. Definitely expect a shake-up of the tried and true AA formula, but also expect a mystery worth solving and a Miles Edgeworth ready to prove why in this universe, Shu Takumi decided to honour him with the protagonist mantle instead of Phoenix.
