Evidence examination and new dialogue?

Post by icannothinkofaname »

This is a gameplay mechanic that comes up sometimes in the series, especially in The Great Ace Attorney. The player receives a piece of evidence, and examines it in detail. When the player checks a particular spot on it, it updates the evidence to include new evidencd.

Is there any way to do something similar to that in the AAO editor?

Not presently, sorry! At the moment, we don't have ways to do "detailed" examinations at all. It's something for me to think about adding, though...

Ah, thank you for the response!

And no worries. I was curious if there was a specific in editor way to do it, but I think a workaround is possible in the scenario I'm imagining. (Just gotta use some presents and a lot of 'point to area on an image to continue' things.)
