Re: Never Trust The Narrator
Well, that was a totally unexpected result. I could have in no way predicted how things would turn out based upon the entrants.
Congratulations, regardless.
As for the reviews:
Also, it would seem that the "Frame Preview" button sometimes lies to you, because the editor told me that all of those 4-line frames fit within 3 lines. Maybe that's just Chrome?
Congratulations, regardless.
As for the reviews:
DeeYo wrote:The dialogue was really witty, I have to admit.
DeeYo wrote:The case's grammar was especially polished. Idiomatic expressions abound, perfect use of commas and the like.
DeeYo wrote:In summary, a pretty clichéd plot with really solid writing. I can't wait to see how it continues.
Evo wrote:...canon characters act amazingly in character...
I'm happy with that. Given that I submitted a 2000-frame long 1/4-1/3 of a case the last 215 frames of which were made in three hours without testing, I wouldn't expect to win a normal competition, yet alone one where it seems everyone brought their A++ game.Evo wrote:The dialogue was really, really well-written. Canon characters were perfectly in character, the dialogue sounded natural and there was a lot of wittiness. Canon characterization is definitely the strong part of this trial and might deserve a 10.

Congratulations to the winners, and congratulations to everyone else for making cases that were still really well liked despite not placing in the top three.

It only took two comps for that rule clarification to come into effect!AceAttorneyMaster111 wrote:So who will host?
DWaM has to nominate another contestant.

Re: Never Trust The Narrator
As the entrant who almost certainly came in last, I proudly volunteer! After all, only one of the two comps I've hosted has ended up being described as a total disaster, so that's a 50% success rate!AceAttorneyMaster111 wrote:So who will host?

Congrats to DWaM! This competition was great, and tons of fun. Collabing with clc was a great experience.
