Spoiler : To Boldly Flee :
Weird that they're putting a mask on Snob after Doug tried to talk whatshisface out of covering his face in Kickassia. Awesome part though, perhaps on par with part 4.

Spoiler : :
The Mechakara makeup looks REALLY good, plus Linkara's acting really helps. Also the glasses over the Snob Vader's helmet were hilarious.

Spoiler : :
The ending was good. But I tooooootally called the plot twist where NC meets Doug. Also, Badass Linkara was Badass. The only thing I have to say is that the music in Part 7 could have stood to be much stronger, and the story felt like it relied WAAAAAY too much on being a parody of all things sci-fi. I realize that that's how Suburban Knights was, but fantasy adventures are distinct enough to feel like their own story-- TBF felt like one, huuuuge reference, to the point where the references started to bug me. Unlike Suburban Knights, it didn't distinguish itself enough to be considered a parody. Suburban Knights was more of a "generic" parody, where they made fun of all things fantasy, but TBF more or less is a combo of Search for Spock and Star Wars (Which I only know because NC reviewed it) with its own ideas intersperced between the parody.

Even so, there were a lot of good scenes, and the parody wasn't always painful. I rather liked the Darth Snob vs Luke whatever his name was, even though that scene was also a blatant parody. And a lot of the scenes were very fun, and CR and JO got a chance to shine, which was awesome. The Mechakara makeup was awesome, and the fights were really fun, too. So overall, I liked it. I wondered how Doug was going to react to meeting the Nostalgia Critic... Though one wonders what would happen if he created another plot hole into reality and omg too much meta

Spoiler : :
SadPanda spoiled that he kills Mechakara on Twitter before I watched the last part. SadPanda must die!!!

Yeah the parodying got really annoying. Although Snob's fight against Luke was... wow, I only just got that Luke and Luke have the same name... but anyway, that was actually the worst part to me, until Snob took care of black towel on head dude. There were way better last words for him in the credits such as the one about the plant and the pun about the housing market crashing. And Zod goes out like a b*tch. Why did Mechakara bother escaping from the critics if he's strong enough to beat the crap out of Superman's equal with zero effort? All he'd have to do against the critics was sneeze and their whole damn ship would blow up.

Well nitpicking aside this was a good movie. And I can now hope that Ask ThatGuy will do some more videos while NC is trying to get over the whole being dead thing. Hope in vain perhaps but...

Welp, it's official: the Nostalgia Critic is done. http://thatguywiththeglasses.com/videol ... gia-critic

From what I understand, there might be new reviews every once in a while, but he won't be the main star of the site anymore.

Very unexpected. But definitely makes sense. They've already done just about everything they can with him.
