I am entering this competition with an independent case sequel that is also a repackaging of my first-ever, never-before-revealed AAO case. So this case has been literally 11 years in the making.

Ending stuff for my entry is going much longer than I anticipated (in general stuff is longer than I anticipated oops I thought this would be very short). I just want to write!!! So anyway I should still be on track to finish my scenario writing by the end of the month (which is also the end of the week aaaaaaaahhhh time), and I'll start actually inserting assets and stuff very soon. So I should hopefully be on track to finish with time to spare and stuff.

I hope everyone else's entries are going well too.

Mine's complete. Just finished up fixing some of of the more subtle bugs today. There may be more, but I haven't found them if so. I might still make tweaks depending on tester feedback, but I'm pretty much ready to submit whenever.

I'm more or less finished. My only remaining things to do are let my playtesters finishing testing the game, then replace the placeholder sprites with custom assets, which I still won't have for another twenty or so days.

It's now May, and I... Did not finish the writing for my entry just yet, because rather than do the ending stuff (it's very close aaaaaaahhhh) I decided to start inserting sprites. But that's still progress, and wow having actual assets really makes this feel more like an actual thing. So I'll likely be focused on that for a bit until I arbitrarily decide that I suddenly have the writing motivation to finish the scenario writing in one go, because my brain does its own thing sometimes and that's okay.

Felt like making an update on the actual forum just for consistencies sake. My entry is 99.8% done not accounting for especially elusive bugs or minor grammar mistakes no one noticed.

I just need to get my custom sprites back and sorted out before submitting my entry. Something I should have done on the 27th.

I predict I'll be submitting my entry on the 28th or sooner. Time to see if Future me is going to call me past me an optimistic idiot.

Same, but I'm not dropping out. I want to get at least the first part of my investigation done, and then see into getting that looking pretty for the competition. And the worst part is, getting to the "looking pretty part" is just a hundred frames or so, but... man... I don't like messing around with psychelocks
